Before we left we had a letter advising we had been upgraded to car park 3.This was an on site car park within walking distance from the terminal and with a lift if required. We were delighted so set off for an early morning flight to Prestwick airport. The car park is NOT attended. I saw no evidence of CCTV although there may have been. A note at the entrance advised that for our category of customers we should insert our credit card. Something I was not keen on but no option. The car park was VERY busy with only a few spaces at the extremety of the fenced area. Then the few minutes walk. The distance itself is not that far. However we had 3 cases and it was across the main Prestwick/ Ayr road dual carriageway! This walk took us a good 8 minutes even early in the morning. Clearly a walk as there was no attendant to offer us a lift. The return was much better with an attendant within the airport who advised us fully. THe car was not damaged on our return.

I got a free upgrade to car park 3 due to resurfacing work at car park 7. When I arrived, car park 3 was nearly full so I was given a further free upgrade to car park 1. Thank You. Jim Herron

Good all round service. Transfer to and from the airport was excellent. Due to building works ongoing we were confused about the uplift point on return but this was quickly solved with one phone call.

Have not required to use Watsons Air Park for a number of years and was pleasantly surprised by the parking system. It was clearly marked out and tidy. However, my experience when we landed back at Pretwick was disappointing. We waited in the cold for approx. 1/2 hour to be picked up. A lady with a sick child eventually got through by phone and the bus arrived a couple of mins later. The driver told us he had not noticed the previous bus returning to the park and had been waiting up the road. Not an impressive or acceptable answer I'm afraid. Another lady who is a regular user told us that normally the buses are ready waiting and this situation was not the norm. So, overall, I would probably use Watsons again but they need to keep their eye on the ball.
