Transfers from airport

Transfers are not required as the terminal is within walking distance from Car Park 1.

Directions

The airport is situated on Younger Drive just off the A79. Follow signs into the airport vicinity. The car parks are within walking distance to the terminal.

Arrival procedure

On arrival, please drive slowly to the car park barriers which are ANPR operated. Then get into the Car Park 1 lane and follow the road round. The car park is situated to the right of the main terminal building. Please park your car and make your way to the terminal using the pathways provided.

Return procedure

On your return, please leave the terminal building and head to the car park, then pick up your vehicle and head to the exit barrier. Please drive slowly so that the ANPR can read the registration plate. The barrier will then open to let you out.

Security

The car park has CCTV, security fencing, 24-hour staff and is barrier-controlled.

Disabled facilities

The car park is is suitable for customers with mobility issues as it's within walking distance to the terminal. Blue Badge parking spaces are available.

Please note that Car Park 1 has a vehicle height restriction of 2m / 6’6”.

You park your car yourself and keep hold of your keys.

Please make sure you bring your booking reference with you.

The car park operates an automatic vehicle recognition system so make sure you have provided your correct vehicle registration or you may be refused entry on arrival.

It made a huge difference to (reducing) stress of travelling by being able to drive up within a few metres of the terminal and walk straight in (and same with return journey). Travelling is always tiring and this parking arrangement made a massive difference. Well worth the money.
