"Arrival at airport went without a hitch - upon return, however, since our plane had been cancelled and we were returning a day later, we needed to pay an extra £15. I assumed this would be payable with a card but no - we were told that cash only would do - so I returned to the airport, got £20 out of the ATM but, upon offering this to the Knights, it still would not do - they had no change. I disinclined to pay an extra fiver so went to a coffee shop (back in the airport) bought a 45p sweet and, back at the carpark gave the £15 (and the sweet) to the chaps. However, on attempting to leave the airport the display at the barrier told us that we still owed £4.85. I hit the 'help' button and was told that this was the error of our car park guys (and that 'they do this all the time'). Another call summoned our friends at the car park (after an argument and a bit of a wait) who came down 4 floors to tinker with a machine which released us finally into the outside world.
After 12 hours of travelling we could really have done without this - why, if they run a 'cash only' business don't they keep change? Was this a regular scam they do? Those fivers mount up. Dunno - seems like at best sloppy, at worst exploitative of tired, impatient-to-get-home people. A poor show."

"Just returned today [12/12/2017], to find that we had mistakenly booked our return as the 11/12/2017 with HKofLondon. Of course, 11/12/2017 was went to left our country of origin, not when we arrived at Heathrow.

Had to pay the £15.00 overcharge - but that was our fault and they were very good about the confusion. They had brought the car back on the day we booked - held it secure for us at the airport, but then returned it to their compound when it was clear we were a no show. When we did arrive, was greeted by the desk agent, who was a very pleasant gentleman.

Car arrived within 15 minutes of our call from baggage reclaim.

Problem arose when trying to exit the car park - BUT THIS WAS NOT HKof Londons' fault. Driver had obtained a ticket on entry, but when he went to pay for my exit, the Heathrow payment machines [we tried 3], would not recognise the ticket that the entry barrier had produced not 7 minutes earlier. Heathrow parking 'press the button for help' did not seem much help, and instructed us to drive to the exit and it ‘would be sorted’. Main desk greeter went down in the lifts to help us get out of the car park and went the extra mile to help - highly commendable, excellent customer service from HKofLondon. Car park owners sent personnel to sort it out, and we got out of the car park eventually, but only with the excellent support of the main desk greeter - well done sir. That is the sort of service that wins repeat customers for life."

"Upon our return from holiday we rang the number provided after we had collected our baggage as instructed and were told our vehicle would be with us in 20 minutes and were then instructed where to go and collect our vehicle. After 30 minutes of waiting we enquired to see where our car was to be told it has gone to be cleaned it will be 25 minutes. After waiting another 20 minutes we enquired again about our vehicle to be told again it has gone to be cleaned it will be 15 minutes. After 1 hour of waiting our car finally arrived. I emailed the company to complain about the poor service and lack of communication and received an email reply full of apologies and an offer of part refund. I excepted the apology and the offer of refund and requested into be sent via cheque but still 5 weeks late no refund and ignoring emails. I would not recommend this company at all"

"I used Knights of London at Heathrow after a short busines trip to Israel. Dropping off the car was no issue but the return was a different matter. On my return the telephone numbers the provider (Knights of London) asks you to call were constantly engaged. When I arrived at the collection point I was advised to call the numbers provided and tried once again - still engaged! I did get though after 15 minutes to be told my car would not arrive for another 30 minutes (now making the cars return 45 minutes late). After waiting another 30 minutes, I again called the provider to be told the car would be another 15 minutes.

The car did finally arrive but it was 60 minutes later than the planned returned time. I had all the usual excuses of "we are very busy", "we do not have enough drivers" etc. etc.

I could have caught the bus to the long term car park and been on my way in 15 minutes. I'll never use them again.

The terrible service I received is not what I paid for."

"Drop off and collection was a bit chaotic, with several different companies working from the same location. It's not clear who works for which company, we found only one person who was helpful (not from Heathrow Knights) then when a blue bib did appear it was difficult getting thier attention or interest. That said, a bit of front and a demanding attitude did the trick!"

"Hi, everything went smoothly thank you - we will use your company again when we next come to Heathrow. We were a bit surprised that we were not met outside the terminal as we usually are but your office explained that airport authorities had changed the rules (which we were not made aware of when we booked) and it was fine going up to the Short Stay Car Park to meet your rep there. Thank you!"

"Excellent. As you know, Heathrow airport was manic due to the bad weather and flight cancellations. But we were met by driver as soon as we arrived and car was promptly taken to car park. On our return we phoned driver as soon as we had collected our bags - and by the time we had walked outside - our car was there - excellent. Thank you very much for a no hassle, friendly and prompt service."

"Knights of London - meet and greet
Not bad. I've used several different ones now and apart from a minor delay whilst the driver had to wait for our documents on our day of departure it went as well as could be expected. It was a shame that he didn't have my details so he could make contact and keep me informed rather than leave me standing by my vehicle...."
