Stansted My CSL Park & Ride is a low-cost independent parking service around 3–5 minutes from the airport, with transfers running on demand. Drive to CSL at Network House in Takeley, leave your keys with the team and take the short transfer towards the terminal. Your vehicle is then moved to one of My CSL’s secure parking locations while you are away.

My CSL is particularly attractive if you want one of the shortest Park & Ride transfers at Stansted and are happy to leave your keys. A small passenger transfer charge applies, so compare the final cost rather than the headline parking price alone.

How does My CSL compare with Maple Parking?

Maple Parking Park & Ride has a transfer of around five minutes and also requires you to leave your keys. My CSL uses on-demand transfers, while Maple normally operates buses on a regular schedule.

Choose My CSL when the on-demand transfer or total price works better for you. Choose Maple when its booking conditions, shuttle arrangements or price are more attractive.

How does My CSL compare with Peak Park & Ride?

Peak Park & Ride is another short-transfer independent option at Stansted. Both require you to leave your keys and both are aimed at passengers looking for a cheaper alternative to terminal-side official parking.

Compare the final price, operating hours and transfer arrangements carefully, as both products have service-time restrictions that may matter for very early departures or late arrivals.

How does My CSL compare with Official Long Stay?

With My CSL you leave your keys and take a short on-demand transfer. With Official Long Stay, you park the car yourself, keep your keys and take an airport shuttle of around 15 minutes.

Choose My CSL when a shorter transfer and independent pricing are more important. Choose Long Stay when keeping your keys and parking in an official airport-operated car park matter more.

Prefer Meet & Greet?

My CSL also offers My CSL Meet & Greet. Instead of driving to the Park & Ride site and taking a transfer, you arrange to meet a My CSL driver at the airport and leave your vehicle with them.

Choose Park & Ride when keeping the price down matters most. Choose Meet & Greet when avoiding the transfer bus is worth paying more for.

Important things to know

You must leave your keys with My CSL because your vehicle may be moved to one of the operator’s secure parking locations around Stansted. Allow for some additional mileage while the car is in their care. Current supplier information states that Park & Ride transfers normally operate between 04:00 and 23:45, so check the times on your booking confirmation if you have a very early or late flight. A transfer charge of £1 per person each way is currently payable in cash; under-16s and over-60s travel free. Commercial and large vehicles are not accepted. If your return is delayed, contact My CSL using the number on your confirmation rather than assuming the normal transfer arrangements will still apply.

Head to Stansted Airport. On arrival at Stansted Airport follow signs for the short stay car park. when you reach the Coopers End Roundabout (which is the large roundabout before the Short Stay Car Park), take the 4th exit signposted 'Takeley'. After taking this exit you will immediately come to a mini roundabout. Take the first exit (left) at this mini roundabout and head towards Bambers Green. Follow the road for 0.7 miles and you will see 'Network House' on the right hand side.

Arrival procedure

On arrival, please park your vehicle in the car park at the front of the building, remove your luggage and report to reception where you will be checked in and transferred to the airport.

It is your responsibility to leave your vehicle key with the car park as your vehicle will be moved to one of their secure car parking locations where it will be stored for the duration of your vehicle's stay.

The staff are fully insured and licensed to drive all types of vehicles to and from their storage facilities but the vehicle will remain under the owner's insurance while stationary and being stored with CSL. They have various car parks around the Stansted area with the furthest one being only 6 miles from the drop off location. They ask all customers to allow 20 miles for the car to travel while in their care in case of road closures or any events outside of their control.

Please note that there is a transfer charge of £1 per person each way which is required in cash upon check in. Under 16's and over 60's are free of charge.

Return procedure

Please check your booking confirmation as procedure may vary by supplier.

ON your return, please collect your luggage. After you have collected your luggage, please call My CSL on the number on your confirmation. A My CSL Member of Staff will then arrange a meeting point with you.

Please do not call My CSL before you have collected your luggage and are ready to make your way to the meeting point. There is a Stansted Airport penalty charge for any vehicles at the collection point for longer than 10 minutes. Therefore you will be liable for any additional charges.

Security

Secured compounds with cctv and 24 hour guards. All My CSL drivers are fully insured.

Additional information

The service operates 24 hours a day, but extra charges may be incurred if you arrive into another day and will be payable to the car park on return.

Please note that commercial and large vehicles are not accepted by this parking service. If you arrive with an unsuitable vehicle you will be charged for another space, i.e. the same amount already paid will be incurred and charged by My CSL when checking in.

Return Greet

If you choose this option, your car will be delivered to you at the airport when you return.
