Newcastle Official On Airport Premium Fast Track

Overview

Newcastle International Premium Fast Track is an official on-airport car park from which you can walk to the terminal in as little as 1-2 minutes. It is the nearest car park to the terminal, right next to it.

If you have already done a price search then you might be confused (and justifiably) by the car park naming and prices: there are 2 types of both Long Stay and Short Stay (Long Stay/Long Stay Premium and, Short Stay 1/Short Stay 2) - as well as this one Premium Fast Track.

Newcastle airport is small with all the official car parks onsite and walkable. Long Stay is the farthest and cheapest but still listed as only a 5-7 minute walk, while Long Stay Premium is opposite Short Stay 2, making it perhaps a 1-2 minutes quicker to the terminal - and a little bit more expensive.

Slightly nearer than Long Stay, Short Stay 2 and Long Stay Premium are situated opposite each other with no noticeable difference in distance to the terminal. As a result their prices should be very similar.

Short Stay 1 is across from the terminal and closer than Short Stay 2, explaining its higher price relatively.

Premium Fast Track is even closer to the terminal than Short Stay 1 and therefore the most expensive option.

Security

The car park has CCTV, entry and exit barriers, security fencing and 24-hour patrols.

Directions

- From the A1, take the A696 to Newcastle Airport. When you approach the airport roundabout, take the 2nd exit.

- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and follow the signs to the Premium Fast Track car park.

- At the following roundabout take the 2nd exit, and head straight on for around 100 metres. The Premium Fast Track car park will be on your right-hand side.

Arrival procedure

- On arrival at the car park, please drive up to the barrier and your number plate will be recognised.

- You’ll be given a ticket, the entry barrier will lift automatically and you can then park in any of the spaces and keep hold of your keys. Then take a short 2-minute walk over the road to the terminal.

Using FastTrack
- When you get to the security checks in departures, please show your parking confirmation to a member of the team at the Fast Track lane and your party will be given access.

Return procedure

- On your return, once you've collected your bags, please walk back to the car park to pick up your car.

- Drive to the barrier, put your ticket in the machine and it'll let you out.

- If you have any problems, please press the help button on the machine to talk to a member of staff. Be sure to have your booking reference to hand.

Disabled facilities

The car park doesn’t have specific disabled parking bays but all the parking spaces are extra wide making it suitable for all.

Additional information

- Fast Track tickets are included in this package for every person in your party. You’ll need to print your parking confirmation for access.

- You can park your car and keep hold of your keys.

- Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

- The grace period covers you up to midnight on the day of your booking. Anything after that, you’ll be charged the car park’s standard rate of £22.50 (subject to change).

- There’s no need to print out your booking confirmation as you can show it on your mobile device.
