Maple Parking Park & Ride is an independent off-airport service for Manchester Terminals 2 and 3, with staff parking your car while you take a free shuttle to the airport. Leave the vehicle in a drop-off bay, check in and hand over your keys. Transfers run every 20 minutes and normally take 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic and terminal.

This is a price-led park-and-ride option which removes the need to find a permanent space yourself. However, it is much farther from the terminals than Manchester Airport’s official car parks, so you must allow more time for the transfer.

At Maple, you leave your keys and the transfer takes approximately 20–30 minutes.

Choose Maple if its price is lower and you would prefer staff to find the final parking space. Choose JetParks for a much shorter transfer and the reassurance of keeping your keys.

How does Maple compare with Drop & Go?

Both services involve leaving your keys and having a driver park the vehicle. Drop & Go is an official airport product much closer to the terminals: Terminal 3 is around a five-minute walk away, while Terminal 2 is reached by a short shuttle. Maple requires a 20–30-minute transfer from its off-airport site.

Choose Maple when the saving justifies the longer journey. Choose Drop & Go when getting to the terminal quickly is more important.

How does Maple compare with Multi Storey parking?

Multi Storey is official self-parking next to Terminals 2 and 3. You keep your keys, most spaces are covered and you walk to check-in without waiting for a bus. Maple is an off-airport alternative where staff park the car and a shuttle is required in both directions.

Choose Maple when price is the priority. Choose Multi Storey for the shortest and simplest route between your car and the terminal.

Important things to know

There is no need to call before arriving, but you must call Maple after collecting your luggage on the return journey so that the shuttle can collect you. The buses do not have wheelchair ramps and are unsuitable for passengers unable to step up into the vehicle. Cars must be roadworthy and fit within a standard 2.4m by 4.8m bay. Parking beyond the booked period may incur an additional daily charge.

From the East and West (M60)
- Leave the M60 at junction 8, take the second exit. Head towards the A6144 (Carrington / Partington / Lymm).
- Continue down the A6144.
- At the second set of traffic lights, turn left onto Isherwood Road.
- Follow the road for approximately 0.5 miles and take the second right.
- Look out for the Maple Parking Sign.

From the North (M6)
- Leave M6 south at junction 21 and onto the A57 towards Warrington (central) / Irlam.
- At the next major junction, turn right onto A6144 for Lymm and Warburton.
- Go over the Toll bridge and carry on the A6144.
- At the next mini roundabout, go straight over towards Flixton / Sale.
- At the next set of lights, turn right onto Isherwood Road.
- Follow the road for approximately 0.5 miles and take the second right.
- Look out for the Maple Parking Sign.

Arrival procedure

Follow the signs to the 'Drop Off' area, where your car will be photographed on entry for added security. A parking attendant will meet you to check your details. After unloading your luggage and checking in, you can take the free shuttle to your terminal which runs on demand. This is a valet service meaning you will leave your keys and your car will be parked for you in the same secure car park saving you time. Return procedure

On your return, once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs, please call Maple Parking on 0161 518 11 22 to let them know you are ready to be collected. Head to the Park & Ride bus stops just outside the terminal. A Maple Parking transfer bus will take you back to the car park, where you can collect your keys and jump in your car.

Additional information

If you find yourself parking for longer than your booked stay, extra days will be charged at £15.00 per day (or part day).

No refunds will be issued for part-used stays.

Payments for extra days must be settled before the vehicle is handed over, and if requested, a receipt can be sent by email to you.

It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner/customer driving to ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy, holds a valid MOT certificate, and has a valid Road Fund Licence.

Vehicles that are not road legal or safe to drive may be refused.

No refunds will be given for illegal or unsafe vehicles not stored.
