Distance to airport

Located on airport, about a mile from the airport and the runway is within a 100 metres.

Transfers from airport

Transfers run 24 hours a day, every 15 minutes and they are included in the price. They take approximately 6-8 minutes to reach the terminals.

Manchester JetParks 3 is an official budget self-parking option with free shuttle buses to Terminals 2 and 3. Park in any available bay, keep your keys and take the bus to the airport. Transfers run every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, and normally take around 6–10 minutes.

JetParks 3 is designed for passengers prioritising price over walking distance. You retain control of the vehicle, but need to find a space, remember where you parked and allow time for the bus in both directions.

Why choose JetParks 3?

  • Official budget parking: one of Manchester Airport’s lower-priced options for longer trips.
  • Keep your keys: the car remains in the space you selected.
  • Both terminals: shuttle buses serve Terminals 2 and 3.
  • 24-hour transfers: buses run approximately every 15 minutes.
  • Park Mark security: CCTV, perimeter fencing, controlled entry and regular patrols.

How does JetParks 3 compare with JetParks 1?

Both are official self-parking products with 24-hour buses, ANPR entry and no key handover. JetParks 1 has a shorter transfer of around five minutes but its shuttle serves Terminal 2 only. JetParks 3 takes slightly longer but serves both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

Terminal 2 passengers should compare the prices of both car parks and may prefer JetParks 1 for the shorter journey. JetParks 3 is the appropriate choice of the two when flying from Terminal 3.

How does JetParks 3 compare with Drop & Go?

With JetParks 3, you find a space and keep your keys. At Drop & Go, you leave the vehicle in an arrival bay, hand over the keys and airport staff park it. Drop & Go is approximately a five-minute walk from Terminal 3, while Terminal 2 passengers use a short shuttle.

Choose JetParks 3 if keeping your keys and securing a lower price matter most. Choose Drop & Go if you would rather avoid searching for a space or carrying luggage from a distant bay.

How does JetParks 3 compare with Multi-Storey Parking?

Manchester’s terminal-specific Multi-Storey car parks let you park yourself, keep your keys and walk to check-in in approximately 1–8 minutes without using a bus. JetParks 3 is farther away and requires a transfer but is positioned as the airport’s budget option.

Choose Multi-Storey when the shortest route to check-in justifies the price difference. JetParks 3 is generally better suited to longer trips where reducing the parking cost is the priority.

Important things to know

JetParks must be booked in advance. Enter the correct registration so the ANPR barrier can recognise the car, and use the intercom if it does not open rather than requesting a token. Make a note of your parking zone and nearest bus stop before leaving. The maximum vehicle height is 2.2 metres and trailers are not accepted. Blue Badge bays are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible. Terminal 1 is now closed, although some older directions and booking documents may still refer to it.

Security

The car park offers perimeter fencing, entry and exit barriers, CCTV and regular staff patrols. It has been awarded the Park Mark accreditation.

Disabled facilities

There are disabled bays available in every car park and the transfer buses are wheelchair-friendly.

Been using this facility for many years, from when it was Boundary farm, where we actually went when we arrived, only to find it was now a run down place, fortunately common sense prevailed and we went to the next entrance, and the barrier opened, and we were on our way, being elderly and not really familiar with online booking it took me a while to actually book, luckily my daughter is familiar with online bookings, hope to be back in March when we go on our cruise.

Very busy so difficult to find a parking space . the nearest bus stop to where we parked wasn't operating . However the transfer buses were modern , clean and frequent and as entry and departure was simple car recognition and therefore a smooth entrance and exit .

Never again. I used Jetparks 3 for the first time on 8 March 2019 as the usual longstay carpark was not available. I have never experienced such a chaotic airport parking experience from start to finish. First of all I couldn't get into the carpark as the numberplate recognition system appeared to have failed. Despite frantically pressing the help button on the entry system for around 10 minutes there was no answer. My partner left the vehicle to find a human being but the carpark was entirely unstaffed and I assume the bus drivers are not required to offer assistance. When I eventually got in (no explanation or apology for why barrier failed and why no one answered the call button for 10-15 mins) there was no where to park and vehicles were driving around in circles trying to find a space. There is no working electronic system to point you in the direction of spaces. The carpark is an odd shape and there were some spaces but they were very difficult to locate. The carpark is potholed with a rough surface filled with water. Not ideal for luggage. The buses take an age to arrive. There appear to be no more than 1-2 running at any one time. The other people waiting at the bus stop said they had been there some time. The bus then took around 25 mins to reach the terminal spending the first 10 mins driving around the car park. It took almost an hour from trying to enter the carpark to reach the terminal. Given that this is an onsite carpark, this timescale is ridiculous. Our return experience was little better. As we approached the terminal bus pick up point, a bus was pulling off. We flagged it down, the driver stopped, opened the door, shouted rudely across to us that he was holding traffic up (no one behind bus at all) closed the door and drove off. This meant a 20-25 mins wait for the next bus so again it was around 45 mins from standing at the bus stop to reach the car. Unless you have lots of time and enjoy a poor service with rude bus drivers go elsewhere.

Absolutely diabolical service, 50-minute wait for a ‘regular bus’ only for it to drive past full! Shocking, don’t use these

Absolute shambles and completly over priced, don’t normally use Jet Parking and certainly will not again, unfortunately had to book parking last minute and Jet Park 3 was only option, £89 for 3 days, daylight robbery. Use the Meet & Greet and make sure you book in advance. As for the parking arrived just aftetv7pm and by the time I’d found parking and waited for bus took 50 mins to get to T3. No parking attendants in sight, just huge rambling site where your left to fend for your self, would certainly not recommend to loan female, the place is totally isolated, for the money they charge it should have attendants on site, avoid.

Terrible information regarding Long Stay closures caused me to miss a flight to Indonesia. Pre-Booking is a must right now, but the Manchester Airport Parking site doesn't give much of a warning. JetParks needs better signs especially with the new road layout and closed routes as not everyone has navigation!

Had difficulty getting out of the car park on our exit, did not recognise the reg, scanned our paperwork bar code, still could not get out, could not get an answer from the help desk, reversed out from the barrier, exited a different barrier it worked with our reg number.
