What happens when you arrive?

Check in at reception with your booking details and car key. Staff will take the information required for your stay and give you return instructions before you board the courtesy bus. Hunters recommends arriving at the car park at least 30 minutes before your airport check-in desk opens so there is enough time to complete the handover and transfer.

What happens when you return?

After collecting your luggage and clearing customs, call Hunters using the telephone number provided when you checked in. Staff will tell you where to meet the courtesy bus outside your terminal. You will then be returned to the car park to collect your vehicle.

Important things to know

You must leave your car key with Hunters while you are away. There is no vehicle height restriction, but additional charges apply to some larger vehicles. Minibuses, vans, camper vans and commercial vehicles incur a surcharge payable directly to the car park, while motorhomes should be discussed with Hunters before booking. The transfer vehicles carry a limited number of passengers, and an additional charge may apply when more than five people are travelling in the same vehicle.

From the M60:
Leave the M60 at Junction 3, signposted Cheadle, Wilmslow, Congleton. Go through the traffic lights, then take the 2nd left hand turning signposted Manchester Airport, Heald Green, B5358. At the top of the slip road turn right taking the 3rd exit. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, signposted Heald Green. Go straight on at the traffic lights. Continue along Wilmslow Road and just after the right-hand bend, turn left into Hunters/7 Ways.

From the M56:
Leave the M56 at Junction 5 signposted for Manchester Airport. Follow the signs for T1/T3 until joining the A555. Leave at Junction for Heald Green B5358. At the roundabout take the first exit. Carry on for 0.4 of a mile turning right immediately after South Gate offices into Hunters.

Arrival procedure

On arrival at the car park, check in at reception with your booking voucher and car keys. You will be asked all the required details and given your return information card before boarding the free courtesy bus to the airport.

Return procedure

Once you have collected your luggage and cleared through customs, please phone the number given at check-in and follow directions to where the bus will collect you from outside the terminal.

Additional information

There are no height restrictions.

The minibuses are only permitted to carry 8 persons. If the number of passengers in your vehicle exceed 5 persons, there will be a surcharge of £20 payable to the car park upon arrival.

Please note that there will be an additional charge of £15.00 payable to the car park upon arrival for the following vehicle types: minibuses, vans, camper vans and all commercial vehicles. Motorhomes can be parked but are to be discussed with the car park prior to booking.
