Official Meet & Greet is Leeds Bradford Airport’s closest parking option, with the terminal less than a two-minute walk from the key-drop cabin. Drive into the vehicle-check area, park where directed and leave your keys at reception. Airport staff then move the car to a secure parking area while you walk to check-in.

The main advantage is that there is no shuttle and no need to search the main car parks for a space. Despite the Meet & Greet name, a driver does not meet you outside the terminal: you park in the designated area and take your keys to the reception cabin.

How does Meet & Greet compare with Premium Short Stay?

Both are among the closest options to the terminal. With Meet & Greet, you leave your keys and airport staff park the vehicle. With Premium Short Stay, you find an extra-wide bay yourself, keep your keys and receive Fast Track for up to two people.

Choose Meet & Greet if finding a parking space is the part you want to avoid. Choose Premium Short Stay if you want the car to remain where you parked it and value the wider bays and included Fast Track.

How does Meet & Greet compare with Short Stay?

Both provide a walk of only a few minutes to check-in. Short Stay is a conventional self-parking product where you choose a bay and keep your keys. Meet & Greet requires you to leave your keys, but staff take responsibility for parking the car.

Choose Short Stay if keeping your keys is more important. Choose Meet & Greet if you would rather hand over the car than search for a space.

How does Meet & Greet compare with Long Stay and Mid Stay?

Long Stay is an official self-parking option with a free 24-hour shuttle taking around two minutes. Mid Stay is also self-parking, but involves a walk of approximately 6–9 minutes. With both products, you keep your keys.

Choose Meet & Greet for the shortest overall route and no shuttle. Choose Long Stay if you want to keep your keys and do not mind taking a bus, or Mid Stay if you prefer to keep your keys and walk.

How does Meet & Greet compare with Sentinel and Park2Travel?

All three require you to leave your keys and allow staff to park the vehicle. Sentinel and Park2Travel are off-airport park and ride products with shuttle journeys of approximately 2–3 minutes. Official Meet & Greet is beside the terminal and does not require a bus.

Choose Meet & Greet if avoiding a transfer is the priority. Choose Sentinel or Park2Travel if you are happy to take a short shuttle and want to compare the price of an off-airport alternative. Park2Travel also offers an Indoor option.

Important things to know

Follow the postcode and what3words location supplied with the booking because the Meet & Greet entrance is separate from the other airport car parks. Most standard cars are accepted if they fit beneath the 1.9-metre entrance barrier and within a 2.4m by 4.8m bay; trailers and commercial vehicles are not accepted. The route to the terminal is step-free and ramped, but the Meet & Greet area does not have designated accessible bays.

Arrival procedure

When you arrive, pull into the vehicle check area and hit the silver button to get in. Your car gets a quick scan, then you'll be shown where to park. Drop your keys at the meet and greet reception cabin and you're ready to stroll to the terminal in 2 minutes.

Return procedure

When you get back, just head to the same cabin in the car park. Your keys will be ready and your car will be parked nearby.

This car park is accessible, with step-free access and ramped routes to the terminal.

There are no designated accessible bays, but the short walk makes it a good option for passengers with reduced mobility.

Additional information

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m) and fit under the 1.9m entry barrier.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 3 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £35 per day. This is subject to change.
