Leeds Bradford Airport Long Stay
“ Excellent value. A seamlessly efficient experience. Thank you.” - Mr D White
Leeds Bradford Airport Long Stay is Leeds Bradford Airport’s official self-parking option with a free 24-hour shuttle taking around two minutes to reach the terminal. Park the car yourself, keep your keys and take the bus from the car park. There is no reception check-in or key handover.
The main advantage is that it combines a short transfer with the freedom to keep your keys. Unlike Mid Stay, Long Stay is not intended as a walking product: the airport currently directs passengers to use the shuttle.
Why choose Long Stay?
- Two-minute shuttle: a short journey from the car park to the terminal.
- 24-hour transfers: buses operate throughout the day and night.
- Keep your keys: the car remains where you parked it.
- Self-parking: choose your own space and drive away as soon as you return.
- Official airport parking: located within the airport grounds.
- Park Mark security: CCTV, barriers, lighting and regular patrols.
How does Long Stay compare with Mid Stay?
Both are official self-parking options where you keep your keys. Long Stay uses a free shuttle taking around two minutes, while Mid Stay is approximately 6–9 minutes from the terminal on foot and does not require a bus.
Choose Long Stay if you would rather take a short shuttle than carry luggage across the airport. Choose Mid Stay if avoiding the bus is more important and you are comfortable with the longer walk.
How does Long Stay compare with Sentinel and Park2Travel?
All three use a short shuttle to reach the terminal. Long Stay is operated by the airport, and you park your own car and keep your keys. At Sentinel and Park2Travel, you leave your keys at reception and staff park the vehicle for you.
Choose Long Stay if you want the car to remain where you parked it. Choose Sentinel or Park2Travel if you would rather hand the vehicle over instead of finding a space. Park2Travel also offers an Indoor product if covered parking matters.
How does Long Stay compare with Short Stay and Meet & Greet?
Short Stay is approximately 2–3 minutes from the terminal on foot, so you can park yourself, keep your keys and avoid the shuttle. With Meet & Greet, you park near the terminal, leave your keys at the office and walk to check-in while airport staff park the car.
Choose Long Stay if a short bus transfer is acceptable. Choose Short Stay if you want to keep your keys and walk straight to the terminal, or Meet & Greet if you want staff to park the car without first travelling to an off-terminal car park.
Important things to know
Enter the correct registration when booking so the ANPR system can recognise your vehicle at the barriers. Make a note of where you park before taking the shuttle. Dedicated Blue Badge spaces are available, and current booking information describes the buses as wheelchair accessible. Standard bookings accept cars that fit within a 2.4m by 4.8m bay; trailers, commercial vehicles and vans are excluded. Long Stay Supersaver bookings cannot be amended, cancelled or refunded.

Please check your booking confirmation for details.
- At the A658 roundabout near the airport, take the third exit if you are travelling north, and the first exit if you are travelling south, onto Whitehouse Lane.
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit, then take the first right after the Travelodge and follow signs for the Long Stay car park. You can park in either Long Stay 1 or Long Stay 2.

Arrival procedure
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
- On arrival at the car park, please pull up to the car park's entrance barrier. Your car registration will be recognised and the barrier will lift to let you in.
- If the barrier doesn't raise, please hold your barcode located in the top right of your booking confirmation just below the reader. When the barcode has been successfully scanned, the scanner will beep and the barrier will raise to allow you to enter.
- If you need any assistance, please press the call button which can be found on all entry or exit barriers at the car park.
- You can drive into the car park and park in a free space. Once you've parked, please follow the signs to walk to the terminal.
- Please make sure you keep your ticket with you as you'll need it when you get back.
Return procedure
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
- On your return, make your way back to the car park from where it dropped you off and find your car where you left it.
- Then follow the signs to the exit. As you approach the barrier, your car registration plate will be recognised and the barrier will lift.
- If it isn't, please hold your barcode located in the top right of your booking confirmation just below the reader. When the barcode has been successfully scanned, the scanner will beep and the barrier will rise to allow you to exit.
Security
The car park holds a Park Mark award, has CCTV, entry and exit barriers and regular patrols.
Disabled facilities
The car park has Blue Badge bays available on a first-come first-served basis.

- There are intercoms in every bus shelter to connect you to 24-hour operator assistance.

Excellent care.
Having left our car there for 10 night, we returned to find we had left a window fully open.
The window had been carefully taped up, to protect the inside from the elements and intruders.
Cannot praise them enough.
