Stansted Premium Park and Ride is a budget off-airport parking service with on-demand transfers taking around 5–8 minutes to reach the terminal. Drive to the car park on Stansted Road, check in at reception and leave your keys with the parking team. You will then be taken to the airport by shuttle bus.

The product is aimed at passengers who want a lower-cost alternative to parking within the airport itself. Transfers are included in the parking price, although separate Stansted airport levy charges currently apply at the terminal in both directions.

Choose Official Long Stay when keeping your keys and using an airport-operated car park matters more. Choose Premium Park and Ride when the lower total price is the priority.

Important things to know

You must leave your car keys with the parking team. Allow at least 30 minutes on top of your airline's recommended check-in time for check-in at the car park and transfer to the terminal. Current product information states that £10 airport levy charges apply each way and are payable locally. Vans, minibuses, camper vans and commercial vehicles are not accepted. Your vehicle must be roadworthy, taxed and MOT'd, with legal tyres and sufficient fuel. On return, call the driver around 30 minutes before leaving the airport to arrange collection.

From the M11, exit at Junction 8 or 8A and follow signs for Stansted Airport. Continue onto the A120 towards Bishop’s Stortford. Follow signs for Elsenham and Stansted Road. The car park is located on Stansted Road, before the residential area on the main road.

Arrival procedure

On arrival, proceed to the car park reception and present the booking confirmation. A quick check-in will be completed before transfer to the airport by shuttle bus. Customers should arrive at least 30 minutes before their recommended check-in time. Airport levy charges of £10 each way apply and are payable locally.

Return procedure

Call the driver number approximately 30 minutes before leaving the airport. A driver will collect passengers from the terminal and transfer them back to the parking yard where the vehicle is stored. Any applicable levy, transfer, or delayed pick-up charges are payable locally.
