Stansted Jet Parks

Stansted JetParks is the airport’s lowest-priced official parking option, intended primarily for trips of seven days or more. Drive through using ANPR, choose a space and keep your keys while you are away. Free buses run every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, with the journey to the terminal taking around 10–15 minutes.

JetParks is aimed at passengers who want official airport parking at the lowest available price and do not mind allowing extra time for the transfer. Unlike parking services where staff move the vehicle, your car remains in the space you selected.

How does JetParks compare with Long Stay?

The experience is very similar. Both are official self-parking options where you keep your keys and use a 24-hour shuttle, with buses running every 15 minutes and transfers taking roughly 15 minutes. JetParks is marketed as the airport’s lowest-priced official option and normally requires a stay of at least seven days, while Long Stay accepts bookings from five days.

Compare both for your dates. Choose JetParks when it provides the lower price; choose Long Stay when JetParks is unavailable or your trip is shorter than seven days.

How does JetParks compare with Mid Stay?

Both are official self-parking car parks where you keep your keys. Mid Stay has a shorter transfer of around seven minutes and accepts stays from approximately three days. JetParks takes around 10–15 minutes and must be booked in advance, but is positioned as the cheaper option for longer trips.

Choose JetParks when price matters most and you are away for at least a week. Choose Mid Stay for a quicker transfer or a shorter trip.

How does JetParks compare with Meet & Greet?

JetParks requires you to find a space, keep your keys and take a shuttle. With Meet & Greet, you leave the car and keys near the terminal, airport staff park the vehicle and check-in is around a two-minute walk away.

Choose JetParks for lower-cost parking and control over where the car is left. Choose Meet & Greet when avoiding the shuttle and shortening the route to check-in justify the higher price.

Important things to know

JetParks is pre-book only and normally has a minimum stay of seven days, subject to availability. Enter the correct registration so the ANPR system can recognise the car, and allow around 35 minutes between reaching the car park and arriving at the terminal. The airport states that JetParks is suitable for Blue Badge holders. Trailers are not accepted. Check the cancellation conditions carefully because the JetParks Special Offer cannot be amended or cancelled.

Directions

Leave the M11 at junction 8 if you are travelling southbound, and junction 8a if you are travelling northbound. At the motorway roundabout, follow the signs for Stansted airport. At the next roundabout go straight on for Round Coppice Road, following the signs for the Long Stay car park. Go straight on at the next roundabout. You will pass the Hilton on your left. Continue past the entrance to Long Stay and follow Round Coppice Road until you see the turning for JetParks on the left.

Arrival procedure

Drive to the barrier, which will recognise your number plate and lift automatically. You can park in any space and keep your keys while you're away.

Then, head to the help point to request a pickup. The shuttle bus will collect you from the stop. They run 24 hours a day every 20 minutes, take 15-20 minutes and are included in the price.

Return procedure

After collecting your luggage, catch the shuttle bus back to the car park from where it dropped you off.

When you drive to the exit barrier it will lift automatically, but if there are any issues press the intercom button for assistance.

Security

The car park is manned 24 hours a day and has fencing and CCTV. It holds the Park Mark award accredited by the police.

Disabled facilities

JetParks does not have any allocated disabled spaces. However, there are 271 disabled spaces available to Blue Badge holders in the Long Stay car park. Disabled spaces are DDA compliant with CCTV and 2 help-points, and are in zone Q of the car park. When exiting the car park, you will need to take the 'Cash Only' lane and present your booking reference and Blue Badge.

Additional information

This is an on-airport self park car park - you will not be required to leave your keys.

We recommend that you allow 35 minutes to check your car into the car park and transfer to the airport.

Height restriction: 3.5 metres. No trailers are permitted.
