Stansted Bubble Valet Parking – Eco Meet & Greet

Stansted Bubble Valet Parking is a low-cost Meet & Greet service facilitated by I Love Meet & Greet, with vehicle handover directly outside the terminal. Call around 10 minutes before reaching the airport, drive to Zone C of Express Set Down and hand your keys to the driver. Your car is then taken to a secure Park Mark-accredited parking facility and returned to the terminal forecourt when you come back. The product also includes a £1 carbon-offset contribution for each booking.

Bubble Valet is aimed at passengers who want the convenience of forecourt Meet & Greet at a lower, more restrictive rate. The service is facilitated by I Love Meet & Greet, so the underlying handover and parking operation is closely related to I Love’s standard Meet & Greet product.

The main difference is the rate structure. Bubble products are sold on more restrictive terms and cannot be amended or cancelled, so compare the saving against the flexibility of the standard I Love product.

How does Bubble Valet compare with FHR Meet & Greet?

FHR Meet & Greet is also fulfilled by the I Love Meet & Greet team and uses the terminal forecourt. The practical service is therefore very similar.

How does Bubble Valet compare with Official Meet & Greet?

Official Meet & Greet is operated by Stansted Airport and uses its dedicated Meet & Greet facility close to the terminal. Bubble Valet uses the Express Set Down forecourt and the I Love Meet & Greet operation.

Choose Official Meet & Greet if you prefer an airport-operated product with a dedicated reception area. Choose Bubble Valet when its forecourt handover and lower non-flexible rate suit you better.

Important things to know

Bubble Valet is a non-flexible product: I Love’s current terms state that Bubble products cannot be cancelled or changed and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Call the number on your confirmation around 10 minutes before reaching Stansted so the handover can be coordinated. The normal meeting point is Zone C of Express Set Down. Current Stansted forecourt charges are £10 for up to 15 minutes, and airport-access fees apply to Meet & Greet customers. Bubble products also have a 1.8m height restriction under I Love’s current terms, and licensed taxis and larger vehicles are restricted. Follow the exact instructions on your booking confirmation because Stansted can change forecourt arrangements operationally.

Arrival procedure

Due to the forecourt tariffs changing at Stansted it is essential that you call the number on your confirmation Option 1 when you are 10 minutes from the airport. Failure to do may result in extra charges of £50 being imposed.

Please follow signs for Express Set Down which is located directly outside the terminal building up on the forecourt. Drive along to the area marked zone C located centrally on right hand side of the terminal road. If there are any changes to the meet point you will be advised when you call.

If there are issues with the forecourt you may be told when you call to go to the Orange Short Stay Car Park instead (do not go here unless you are told to). If so, follow signs to the terminal. As you approach the terminal follow signs for short stay car parking and head for the furthest car park, sign posted orange short stay car park'. Take a ticket and follow the road round to the orange bollards, pull in on the left hand side, park and your driver will meet you there. Please make sure you hand your car park ticket to the driver.

Return procedure

On your return please collect all your luggage and clear customs before calling the number on your confirmation (Option 1) to have your car delivered.

It is essential to make your way to the forecourt, just outside the terminal doors and wait in Zone C by the flag poles to ensure a prompt delivery of your car. Please remain on the same level as departures.

Due to new tariffs on the forecourt, your car is unable to be on the forecourt for more than 10 minutes so
it is important that you are ready to collect your car and exit the forecourt within the 10 minute period, otherwise you may be liable for any excess fees (£50 over 10 minutes).

On occasions the airport will make operational changes to the forecourt. You will be informed if this is the case when you call and our alternative return point is the Orange Short Stay Car park. When exiting the terminal turn left toward stairs go down one level to Orange Short Stay Car park, This car park has a 10 minute free period so it is important that you are ready to collect your car, otherwise you will be liable for any excess car park fees.

Security

The car park offers security lighting, CCTV, and security barrier. It has also been awarded Park Mark, Safer Parking Award.

Additional information

A £7 exit fee on your return will be payable at the barrier.

Your car is unable to be on the forecourt for more than 10 minutes so it is essential that you are ready to collect your car on return and exit the forecourt within the 10 minute period.

This is a Meet and Greet service with carbon footprint offset - £1 donated for every booking made.

There are no height restrictions.

The car park does not accept licensed taxis, both private hire or hackney carriages.
