Gatwick is 28 miles (45km) south of London, linked directly to the M23 at Junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road. The M25 is a ten-minute drive away (Junction 7), providing connections to the national road and motorway network.

Arrival procedure

Please know that you no longer need to call Ace Parking on your way to Gatwick unless you are arriving more than 2 hours early or late; just make sure you follow carefully the directions and arrival instructions below to the meeting point at your terminal. You can still call them if you need any help on the day of travel; otherwise just proceed to the dedicated meeting point below where their friendly staff will check your details and their drivers check over and park your car.

For help on the day, please call Ace Parking on 01293 533000 and select option 1. Please make sure you have your paperwork and booking reference ready on arrival so that the staff can identify you.

North Terminal:
Please note that the meeting point has recently changed and the new instructions are as follows:
As you approach the North Terminal Roundabout, follow the brown signs for 'Hampton-by-Hilton Hotel', drive past the Shell Fuel Station to the next roundabout and at that roundabout take the 2nd exit still following the brown signs for the 'Hampton-by-Hilton Hotel'. Follow the road to the 'Hampton-by-Hilton Hotel' car park. At the barrier, please enter the code "1992" to enter the dedicated Meet and Greet area, then drive to the far end of the car park where you will find the meeting point. Park in any of the reserved Ace Parking bays and make yourself known to the team who will check your car in and collect your keys.

South Terminal:
As you drive in to the South Terminal, please stay in the right hand lane and follow signs for SHORT STAY & PICK UP. At the SHORT STAY barriers take a ticket which you will need to give to your driver. Drive in to the ORANGE CAR PARK and go up to LEVEL 1. At LEVEL 1 turn right and you will see the APPROVED OPERATOR AREA. Please park up in row D or E as near as you can to the lifts. Please make yourself known to the uniformed Ace (or Maple Manor) staff so that the necessary documentation can be completed with you promptly and you can proceed to check in.

Return procedure

If you are returning ahead of schedule, Ace must have at least 24 hrs notice to ensure that your vehicle is ready for you upon your return. As soon as you have collected all of your luggage and are ready to clear customs, please call Ace Parking on 01293 533000 (and select option 1) then proceed to arrivals. Be sure to look out for your car and have your documentation to hand as the driver will need to confirm your identity. Please be aware that if you are late in collecting your car, after your phone call to tell them you are ready for it, you may incur additional charges from the Short Stay Car Park.

North Terminal:
Please note that the North Terminal meeting point has recently changed so please read directions carefully.
As you leave the North Terminal Customs area, please head towards the Terminal’s main exit doors. Just before the exit doors, take a lift to Level 1 following signs to the 'Hampton-by-Hilton Hotel'. Continue past the hotel reception, through the automatic doors and along the covered walkway to the car park / meeting point. Then take the lift down to the ground floor (level 0) and exit the lift. As you enter the car park, turn left where you will see the dedicated Ace Parking bays (numbered 1-35) where your car will be returned to.

South Terminal:
Please exit the terminal building and follow signs for the 'Short Stay Car Parks' (Orange Car Park 3). Your vehicle will be returned to the 'Approved Operator Area' in Orange Car Park 3 – level 1, ready for you to drive home.

IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE:
ALL CUSTOMERS MUST REMAIN IN THE SAFE WAITING AREAS PROVIDED WITHIN THE CAR PARKS.

Security

ACE car park uses modern security systems such as alarms and/or CCTV and is regularly visited by a specially trained Police Officers to maintain their Park Mark award. Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award.

Insurance

All ACE's drivers are insured to drive your vehicle, though they cannot accept Aston Martins, Ferraris, Rolls Royces, Bentleys, and Maseratis. You will be subject to the car park's terms and conditions, which the car park will give you if you ask.

Disabled facilties

This parking is perfect for disabled passengers as you won't need to catch a transfer bus. If you need help getting in and out of your vehicle, call the provider and one of the team will contact the car park to make the arrangements for you.

Additional information

Due to ongoing works at Gatwick Airport Terminals, the meeting point might change whilst the works are being carried out and in such cases you will be advised when you call them prior to arrival or return.

Please do not leave any valuables inside the vehicle, if you do on your own risk then please take a receipt from the driver.

The car park does not accept large vehicles such as transit vans, or any vehicles with trailers. ACE Parking is also unable to accept the following vehicles: Aston Martin, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Maserati.

If you are returning earlier than the date or time that you have provided, we must know 24 hours in advance to avoid any delay. If you are delayed on return extra days parking are charged at £10 per day. Refunds are not given for part used bookings and bookings cannot be cancelled on the day.

Warning:
Please note that unless your car has tyre tread on each tyre that is within the legal limit, or if it is in any other way unsafe to drive, the driver will not be able to take your car and you will have to make other arrangements to park your car.

Vehicle Restrictions:
Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long). Extra charges will apply for cars that do not fit in to a standard parking space and must be arranged with ACE prior to the drop off date. Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made. Minibuses / vehicles with more than 8 passenger seats cannot be accepted for Meet & Greet services.

Illegal Vehicles:
It is your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle has road tax, holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy / legal. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, ACE will not be able to drive it to the car park, and you will not be able to get a refund.

ACE Meet and Greet Platinum

If you book the Platinum package, full car valet will be included; please check your confirmation as details may vary.

This package includes a Platinum valet: a hand shampoo wash and rinse, wheel wash, hand leather dry, dashboard and interior vinyl and leather clean, an interior vacuum including the boot, glass cleaned inside and out and a free air freshener. Your car will be cleaned less than 24 hours before you're due back, but it will need to be driven back to you, so may pick up some dirt on the way.

Brilliant service, we rang as instructed 15 mins before arriving at hotel; a gentleman was there waiting. He took photos of our car to check for damage, etc. before he took it, very friendly and efficient. On returning at 1.45 in the morning again rang as we picked up our luggage and the car was waiting for us. Again friendly service, just paid an extra £7.50 for an extra day as agreed. Car in good order. Would highly recommend.

On return from holiday the car had been used and the dashboard under passenger side was damaged. Reported it to staff at time, on the contact number and numerous emails - they are not interested in the slightest. Have refused all requests regarding a claim. Trading standards contacted but they are not complying with their requests either. Avoid this company and go to one that looks after your vehicle.

Worst ever service. Wish I had read other reviews first. Meet and Wait not Meet and Greet. Was advised after leaving customs with no bags to collect would be a 25 min wait. After 30 mins called to be told would be another 7 mins due to traffic. No apology just rude and aggressive. Won’t use again.
