APH Edinburgh Park & Ride
Compare and pre-book this car park at Edinburgh airport to save up to 60% off gate prices.
APH Edinburgh Park & Ride is a self-parking service operated by Secure Airparks, with on-demand transfers taking around 1–2 minutes to Edinburgh Airport. Drive through the ANPR-controlled entrance, choose a space, keep your keys and take the included shuttle to the terminal. The car remains in the secured car park while you are away.
The main advantage is combining one of Edinburgh’s shortest off-airport transfers with the reassurance of keeping your keys. Buses and car park staff are available 24 hours a day.
Why choose APH Edinburgh Park & Ride?
- 1–2-minute transfer: one of the closest off-airport parking options.
- Keep your keys: the car remains where you parked it.
- On-demand buses: transfers operate 24 hours a day.
- ANPR entry: number plate recognition provides straightforward access.
- Accessible facilities: wheelchair-accessible buses, ramp access, toilets and assistance with luggage are available.
- Park Mark security: the site has CCTV, fencing, controlled barriers and 24-hour staff.
- Motorist assistance: help with flat batteries and a free jump-start service are available.
How does APH Park & Ride compare with Secure Airparks Self Park?
APH Park & Ride is operated by Secure Airparks from the same car park and provides essentially the same self-parking experience. With either product, you park the car, keep your keys and use the short 24-hour shuttle service.
Compare the live prices and booking conditions rather than choosing between them on location or parking procedure. Pay particular attention to cancellation terms, as some APH rates cannot be amended or refunded.
How does APH Park & Ride compare with Holiday Extras Drop & Go?
Both provide short transfers close to the airport. With APH, you find a space and keep your keys. With Holiday Extras Drop & Go, you leave your key in a secure drop box and staff park the vehicle for you.
Choose APH if you want the car to remain where you parked it. Choose Holiday Extras Drop & Go if avoiding the search for a space is more important than keeping your keys.
How does APH Park & Ride compare with Plane Parking?
Both are self-parking products where you keep your keys. APH is off-airport but has an on-demand journey of around 1–2 minutes, while Plane Parking is Edinburgh Airport’s official budget car park with a ten-minute transfer approximately every 18 minutes.
Choose APH for the shorter and more frequent transfer. Choose Plane Parking if official airport parking or access to electric charging points is more important.
Important things to know
Enter the correct registration when booking so the ANPR system can recognise your vehicle. Return buses currently depart from stand 10 in Edinburgh Airport’s coach park. Standard cars must fit within a 2.4 by 4.8-metre bay; motorhomes, camper vans, lorries, caravans, trailers and oversized vehicles are not accepted. Check the rate conditions carefully because non-flexible bookings cannot be amended or cancelled.

Excellent

The experience of parking and picking the car up was excellent but as previous reviews have said the car park is Sky Secure and APH is not easily recognisable and clear. Would recommend though bus service was also excellent - very pleasant drivers. The driver going to the airport even waited for us !!!

The system works and having the bus just outside international arrivals is a real bonus. Great service.
