Without doubt the rudest staff and most overpriced car park I have ever experienced. The staff appear to be unable to think for themselves and follow a robotic response. Apparently unable to give out their names, name of the company or contact details so that a complaint can be made! Absolutely unacceptable. I welcome the opportunity for a response to my email to discuss further.

Easy to park, good ANR and close to departures are all plus points.
Will be happy to use again but wanted to park in a Bay for a blue badge holder but could not locate them in the express car park.

Found it confusing to find and ended up in the airport car park which we had to pay £1 to then get back out. When we finally got to the correct car park confusion arose again. It said on the confirmation email it would be number plate recognition to enter the car park. This worked but it also auto issued a ticket . There was no mention on the email about having a ticket so therefore we wondered if we would have to pay again when we got back off holiday. This was not the case but the overall parking experience was far from seamless and I have had much easier experiences at other airports

Easy to find, right by departures and no charge for being a little late (about half an hour) on arrival. Would use again no question

Booking and entry to the East Midlands Express Car Park was straight forward, ANPR was working and I was able to park without any fuss or worry. There was an available space, and it was reasonably close (5 minutes walk) to the departure terminal. However, there were problems when exiting the car park. Only 1 of the 2 exits was working/in use and ANPR was not working at the exit forcing all customers to press for help. The attendant appeared not to recognise that there was an issue and was asking each car the same question. He should have recognised the issue and let the cars out more quickly, rather than forcing each driver to validate their payment.

A signpost at the turn off into your car park at the junction with Viscount Road would be helpful.
Otherwise extremely convenient and quick to use when booked and paid online.

Car damaged while parked, no CCTV to find out who crashed in to our car. No procedure to deal with our complaint. Very Poor. Will not use BCP or EMA again.

Car park located close to airport but when we arrived the automatic number plate recognition did not recognise our number we then spent 5 minutes waiting for assistance. We were finally let in and advised to take a ticket and ask for assistance on return.
Upon return at midnight again had to wait a while for assistance as they could not find our booking as apparently Purple Parking do not always pass the details on.
So in summary well located to departures but arrivals and departures process was not good.
