On arrival at the entrance to the long stay carpark 1, the barrier wouldn't open to let us drive through. After a couple of calls the person at the control of the barrier told us that the car nummerplate wasn't being recognised on their system. He finally opened the barrier to let us drive through. We had pre-paid for the carpark, which we were hoping would SAVE us time and we were not very pleased about being held up. Fortunately we had allowed extra time in case of delay on the motorway and therefore didn't miss our plane. Hopefully we won't have problems when we want to leave the longstay carpark 1, when we return to the UK.

What a fantastic experience. Easy to book, easy to get to, plenty of parking spaces and a two minute walk to the terminal; much better experience than Stanstead.
