Norwich Official Long Stay
Compare and pre-book this car park at Norwich airport to save up to 60% off gate prices.
Norwich Official Long Stay is an on-airport self-parking option around a five-minute walk from the terminal. Park the car yourself, keep your keys and walk directly to check-in. There is no shuttle bus or key handover.
It provides much the same straightforward parking experience as Short Stay but with a slightly longer walk and normally a lower price for longer trips.
Why choose Norwich Long Stay?
- Five-minute walk: reach the terminal without waiting for a shuttle.
- Keep your keys: the car remains in the space where you parked it.
- Official airport parking: located within the Norwich Airport grounds.
- Simple ANPR entry: the barrier recognises the registration entered when booking.
- Park Mark: security includes CCTV, fencing, barriers and 24-hour patrols.
How does Long Stay compare with Short Stay?
Both are official self-parking options where you keep your keys and walk to the terminal. Long Stay is approximately five minutes away, while Short Stay takes around two minutes.
Choose Long Stay when it offers the better price and the additional walk is not a problem. Choose Short Stay if the shortest possible route is more important, particularly when travelling with young children, heavy luggage or limited mobility.
How does Long Stay compare with Drop and Go?
With Long Stay, you find your own space, keep your keys and walk for around five minutes. Drop and Go is a meet-and-greet service where you hand the car to a driver near the terminal and it is taken to an off-airport storage site.
Choose Long Stay if you want the car to remain where you parked it. Choose Drop and Go when available if avoiding the walk and finding a space are worth leaving your keys with the operator. Covered storage and valet options may also be offered with some Drop and Go products.
Important things to know
Enter the correct registration when booking so the ANPR system can recognise your vehicle. Blue Badge spaces are available at the end of Long Stay closest to the terminal, but numbers are limited; Norwich Airport recommends Short Stay for passengers with limited mobility. Standard cars are accepted, but trailers and commercial vehicles are not permitted. Additional charges can apply if you leave later than the time booked.

Disabled facilities
As this car park is a 5-minute walk away from the terminal, disabled passengers may find it easier to use the Short Stay car park.
Maximum vehicle size
Most standard sized vehicles will be accepted, as long as they don't have a trailer ad fit a standard parking bay.
It all worked exactly as it should, number plate recognition, entering and leaving, no trouble. A thankfully very short walk, (it was pouring with rain on our return) no problems.

All very easy and straightforward. Only comment would be clearer signs from parking lot to terminal, especially when arriving in the dark.
