Not required, this car park is a short 2-minute walk away from the terminal.
Norwich Official Short Stay is Norwich Airport’s closest self-parking option, around a two-minute walk from the terminal. Park the car yourself, keep your keys and walk directly to check-in. There is no shuttle or key handover.
Despite the name, Short Stay can be pre-booked for the full length of a holiday. Its main advantage over Long Stay is the shorter walk; the parking procedure is otherwise very similar.
Why choose Norwich Short Stay?
Two-minute walk: Norwich Airport’s closest standard parking option.
Keep your keys: the car remains in the space where you parked it.
No shuttle: walk directly to the terminal without waiting for transport.
Official airport parking: located within the Norwich Airport grounds.
Park Mark: security includes CCTV, fencing, barriers and regular patrols.
Which Short Stay product should you choose?
Short Stay: park in any available standard space and walk approximately two minutes to the terminal.
Short Stay Premium: provides a guaranteed Premium space nearer the airport entrance.
Short Stay Premium with Fast Track: combines a Premium parking space with access to the faster security lane. Check the booking details for the number of Fast Track passes included.
Choose the standard product when price matters more than saving a little extra walking. Upgrade to Premium for a space near the entrance, or Premium with Fast Track when reducing both the walk and security queue is worth the additional cost.
How does Short Stay compare with Long Stay?
Both are official self-parking options where you keep your keys and walk to the terminal. Short Stay is around two minutes away, while Long Stay takes approximately five minutes and will normally cost less for a longer trip.
Choose Short Stay for the shortest route, particularly with young children, heavy luggage or limited mobility. Choose Long Stay when the lower price is more important than saving around three minutes of walking.
How does Short Stay compare with Drop and Go?
Short Stay requires you to find a space but lets you keep your keys and leaves the car where you parked it. With Drop and Go, a driver meets you in the Short Stay area and takes the vehicle to an off-airport compound.
Choose Short Stay if you prefer to retain control of the vehicle. Choose Drop and Go when available if you would rather avoid finding a space and are happy to leave your keys. Some Drop and Go products also include covered storage or a vehicle clean.
Important things to know
Enter the correct registration when booking. The ANPR system matches the vehicle to the reservation and automatically dispenses a ticket at the entrance; keep this ticket in case it is required when leaving. Blue Badge bays are available, but numbers are limited. There are no entrance height restrictions, although oversized vehicles may be charged for any additional spaces used. Electric charging is not available.
Security
CCTV cameras, regular patrols by staff and security fencing around the perimeter fence of the car park. This car park has the Park Mark Award.

Purchasing was straightforward as was the parking when we arrived. The ANPR recognised the car on exit with no contact or intervention needed. Overall an excellent experience and good value for money too.

Great parking but just super expensive, we had our taxi cancel late notice so had to book parking as our relatives now not allowed to drop off nearby as you get fined £100, if seen to get out of a car with a suitcase on the airport road do feel we would definitely regularly park if costs were lower

Outrageously expensive for a pretty tatty car park. No special offers, just a flat £15 a day. Won’t be doing that again.

Once you negotiate the signposting, (which could be better for first time clients) it was very easy to use this parking and would definitely use again if more airlines opened up routes from this great regional airport.
