Liverpool Airport Official Meet & Greet

Meet & Greet removes the annoying part of airport parking: actually finding somewhere to park. Drive into the dedicated official car park, leave your vehicle in an arrival lane and deposit your key at the self-service kiosk. The terminal is then around a one-minute walk away via the covered walkway.

While you are away, the airport team parks the car for you. On your return, walk back to the Meet & Greet office, collect your key from the self-service locker and follow the instructions to your waiting vehicle. No shuttle, no circling for a space and no phone call to summon a driver.

How does Meet & Greet compare with Fast Track Parking?

Both are official airport options around a one-minute covered walk from the terminal. With Fast Track, you find your own bay and keep your keys. With Meet & Greet, you leave your key and the airport team parks the car.

Choose Fast Track if keeping your keys matters. Choose Meet & Greet if you would rather abandon the hunt for a space before it has even begun.

How does Meet & Greet compare with Long Stay?

Long Stay is normally cheaper and lets you park yourself and keep your keys, but it is outdoors and around a five-minute walk from the terminal. Meet & Greet cuts the walk to about one minute and removes the need to find a bay.

Choose Long Stay when price matters most. Choose Meet & Greet when travelling with children, heavy luggage or anyone who regards parking-space hunting as a poor start to a holiday.

How does the official service compare with third-party Meet & Greet?

With Liverpool Airport’s official service, you drive into a dedicated airport car park and use the self-service key kiosk. Third-party services commonly arrange for a driver to meet you near the terminal before taking the car to a separate off-airport site.

The third-party option may be cheaper, but compare where the vehicle is stored, any airport access fees and recent customer reviews. “Meet & Greet” describes the convenience, not necessarily the same parking arrangement.

Important things to know

You must leave your car key, so remove house keys and unnecessary keyrings. Standard vehicles must fit within a normal parking bay and commercial vehicles or trailers are not accepted. Liverpool Airport currently charges £25 for each additional 24 hours, or part of 24 hours, if you overstay. Paid Type 2 electric vehicle charging is also available within the Meet & Greet area.

This service operates from the Drop off point just outside the terminal building, but your car is stored away from the airport.

Arrival procedure

Upon arrival at the airport, please pull up in the drop zone adjacent to the terminal. Our driver will then collect your vehicle.

Return procedure

Upon return to the airport please phone when you collect your baggage from the carousel and a driver will be sent with your car to meet you at the terminal.

Security

All drivers are fully insured to drive your vehicle, when your car is collected our driver will take it to a fully secure compound, where your car will remain until your return.
