Cardiff Airport Express Park
Express Park, formerly Meet & Greet, is Cardiff Airport’s official leave-your-keys service around a 2–3-minute walk from check-in. Drive into the dedicated shelter, hand your key to the team and head straight to the terminal while they park the car for you.
Your vehicle is photographed on arrival and stored in a secure airport car park around 200 yards away. On your return, walk back to the Priority Reception, where your key and car will be waiting.
Why choose Express Park?
- 2–3-minute walk: no shuttle or transfer bus required.
- No search for a bay: airport staff park the car for you.
- Official airport service: your vehicle remains on airport grounds.
- Vehicle photographs: digital images are taken when you arrive.
- Simple return: collect your key and car from the same area.
- Accessible: a Special Assistance call point and sheltered waiting area are available.
How does Express Park compare with Premium Parking?
Both are official options only a couple of minutes from the terminal. Premium provides extra-wide self-parking bays and lets you keep your keys. Express Park requires you to leave your key, but removes the need to find and park in a space.
Choose Premium if wider bays and keeping your keys matter most. Choose Express Park if parking the car is one airport chore you would rather hand to somebody else.
How does Express Park compare with Car Park 1?
Car Park 1 is an official self-parking option around a 4–5-minute walk from the terminal. You find your own bay and keep your keys, and it may cost less than Express Park.
Choose Car Park 1 for straightforward self-parking. Choose Express Park when the shorter walk and staff parking justify the difference.
Important things to know
You must leave your car key, so remove house keys and unnecessary keyrings. Standard vehicles must fit within a 2.4m by 4.8m bay; trailers and commercial vehicles are not accepted. Express Park Electric Charge is a separate product and must be booked specifically if you want the car charged while you are away.
