simple enough, just drive up and the automatic car registration opens the barrier. We were lucky, found a space in C2 quite close to departures. in the past we have had quite a distance to walk as no spaces in C2 or blue badge area. Usual problems with some people selfishly parking across 2 bays because they don't want their doors dinked, but the spaces are plenty big enough, they are just entitled A-holes!

Arrival at the parking area was fine But we thought the identification of the area we parked in was poor. We were in the section furthest from the road and found the route to the airport very poorly marked and whilst we were at our car another couple were "searching" for their car so it may be a regular problem. On return it is somewhat worse coming out much further away from the entrance and again signage for pedestrian route would be very useful. We had prebooked and had difficulty with the "HELP" arrangement on the right side but when we used the left barrier it worked well. Apparently our car wasn't scanned on entry!!

Arrival: only rh lane for CP2 not two lanes. Stuck in middle lane ANPR not working & had to wait for operative to arrive - good job we weren’t late. Departure: queue as someone’s ANPR not working or got wrong tkt. ours was fine once we got there Overall: acceptable if a bit frustrating

I thought I was booking direct with the airport. My car was not recognised, and the barrier would not lift. I had to go into airport and get a lovely lady at the information desk to sort it out. I was very annoyed.

When we arrived the auto number plate registration did not work but the machine issued a ticket. On departure at the end of our holiday we were asked to pay over £200! A long dialogue then took place via the exit barrier phone which eventually resulted in the barrier letting is through. This meant we missed our ferry connection home adding several hours to our return. There are clearly big problems with your system.
