“ I'm delighted with your service at airparks ...unfailing helpful service and yesterday, very late, I was greeted with the usual cheerfulness which helped enormously after having come in after a nearly four hour delay on the return timing. ” - Barbara Doubtfire
This is Birmingham airport’s closest off-site car park, being just 4 miles from the airport. The transfer takes just under 15 minutes and buses run every 25 minutes. Customers should allow longer in peak times: the recommendation is to allow 50 minutes. Cars are parked by attendants so keys should be left. Returning customers should note that the bus picks up, not from the bus shelter, but at the Waiting Zone. Extras offered by the car park include a free jump-start service and a vending machine for hot drinks.
Leave the M42 at junction 6 and take the A45 Coventry Road towards the city centre and the airport - it's the first exit if you're travelling northbound, and the third exit if you're travelling southbound. Go through two sets of traffic lights, passing the Holiday Inn on your right. At the third set of traffic lights, get into the right hand lane. You'll see a signpost for off-site airport parking. Turn right onto Sheaf Lane towards Garretts Green and Marston Green. Follow this road until you reach a roundabout; take the third exit, following the sign for off-site airport parking site A. After half a mile, turn left into Mackadown Lane. Airparks is on the left, just before the railway bridge.
If you're using a sat nav, we advise you to enter the full address, not just the postcode.
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
Park in one of the arrivals bays and head to reception to check in. You should bring a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
Your car will be parked for you while you catch the transfer bus to the airport, so you'll need to leave your car keys with reception. Just make your way to the waiting area in the car park.
We recommend that you allow 50 minutes from checking into the car park to reaching the airport terminal.

The Airparks bus will take you back to the car park to collect your car. You'll need to catch the bus from stop A outside the terminal. Unfortunately, because so many different buses use that stop, the Airparks bus can't pick up from the shelter itself - it picks up from the area marked 'waiting zone' instead.
When you get back to the car park, you'll need to go into reception with your ticket. Reception will tell you where your car is parked. Then just drive to the exit barrier, where you'll need to scan the tag on your key to get out.
The car park is protected by CCTV, a high fence, entry and exit barriers, floodlighting and regular patrols. All these features have earned the car park the Park Mark security award from the police, who inspect the site at least once a year to ensure standards remain high.
Parking is always at the vehicle owner's own risk.
All Airparks buses have disabled access.
Airparks can't accept taxis, as they can only be driven by the licence holder.
Bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on Airparks buses. If you are bringing large items with you, we suggest you drop them off at the airport before you park your car. You can also book our Return Greet package, where your car is brought to the terminal for you when you come back from holiday.
If you come back to a flat battery, Airparks will be happy to jump start your car for you.
Airparks Birmingham has ladies', men's and disabled toilets, and you can buy hot drinks from the vending machine in reception.
We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car off and transfer to the airport - longer in rush hour, or if there is a major exhibition at the NEC - you can check on www.necgroup.co.uk.
If you're delayed picking your car up, you'll need to pay for the extra parking at the car park's normal rate (which is more expensive than the price you pay when you book with us). If you pick your car up early, unfortunately we can't give you a refund. If you're going to come back early, please let Airparks know, if you can.
Airparks can't accept minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles more than 2.1m (7 ft) high, even if you book more than one space.
The vending machine sells only hot drinks. There are no snacks.
