Directions
Southampton airport is just off junction 5 of the M27. The M27 can be reached via the M3 from the north and London, and via the A36 and the A31 from the west.
Directions to Southampton Long Stay from the M27:
Leave M27 at junction 5. Take the exit for the A335 (signposted Eastleigh/Southampton airport). At the roundabout take the second exit towards the airport. Take the first left at the next roundabout and follow signs for the Long Stay car park.

Transfer time
Transfers run every 10-12 minutes, 24 hours a day and are included in the price. The journey takes approx. 5 minutes.
Arrival procedure
On arrival at the car park, your car registration will be read and recognised automatically. The barrier will lift and you’ll be given a ticket. Please make sure you keep it safe as you’ll need it when you return. Please park in any space, keep your keys and take the bus to the airport.
Departure procedure
On your return, please follow signs for the Long Stay bus stop when you leave the terminal and catch the shuttle bus back to the car park.
On your way out, put your ticket into the exit barrier and wait for it to lift.
Security
The car park is has entry and exit barriers, CCTV and regular staff patrols. It also holds the Park Mark award.
Insurance
Parking is at the vehicle owner's own risk, subject to the terms and conditions of the car park.
Disabled facilities
The car park has designated Blue Badge bays for travellers with reduced mobility next to bus stops A and B. Please note that you’ll need to display your badge while you’re away. There are also Special Assistance Call Points linked to the terminal’s service desk to request help when you’re at the car park.

It's so good to have real people on site to speak to. The attendants have always been very helpful and approachable when there have been problems (ie. being erroneously charged because my car reg wasn't picked up by the camera, or when my flight was diverted to another airport). Some clearer signage (or email notification) about the old long stay car park being closed would be helpful, but otherwise I'll be very happy to continue using the car park facilities at Southampton Airport. But, please, do keep the attendants - they are doing a great (and necessary) job!

The online booking system worked well and the drive in, no delay for paperwork, entry system was smooth. There was a minimal wait for a pick up bus and the short ride to the airport was safe and quick. On return the frequency of pick up buses was good and the un-rushed drop off at each drop off point was relaxed. My car was as I had left it. The only improvement would be someone to assist passengers on and off the bus with their luggage, particularly elderly lone travellers.
