Vacationcare Park and Ride Indoor and Outdoor

Vacationcare Multi-storey is a covered park-and-ride service around 5–10 minutes from Manchester Airport. Leave your keys at reception and VacationCare staff will park the vehicle on one of the secure multi-storey levels before you take the next available shuttle to the terminal.

The main appeal is covered parking at a lower price than many official airport options. The trade-off is that staff retain your keys and a separate £10 airport access charge is payable on arrival.

Why choose Vacationcare Multi-storey?

How does Multi-storey compare with Premium Self-Park?

Both VacationCare products use the same covered multi-storey and airport shuttle. With Multi-storey, you leave your keys and staff park the vehicle for you. With Premium Self-Park, you choose a space, keep your keys and the car remains where you left it.

Choose Multi-storey when the lower price is more important than retaining your keys. Choose Premium Self-Park if you do not want anybody else driving or moving the vehicle.

How does Multi-storey compare with JetParks?

Both provide 24-hour park-and-ride transfers. Vacationcare Multi-storey offers covered parking but requires a key handover and charges an additional £10 for airport access. JetParks is an official open-air self-parking option where you keep your keys and the shuttle is included in the booking price.

Choose VacationCare for protection from the weather and staff-assisted parking. Choose JetParks if keeping your keys, accommodating a taller vehicle or avoiding the separate shuttle charge matters more.

How does Multi-storey compare with Drop & Go?

Both products require you to leave your keys so staff can park the vehicle. Vacationcare Multi-storey is an off-airport option with covered storage and a shuttle journey, while Manchester Airport Drop & Go is an official service located closer to the terminals.

Choose VacationCare when covered parking and price are the priorities. Choose Drop & Go when being closer to the airport is worth the likely additional cost.

Important things to know

A £10 airport access charge is payable per vehicle at reception by cash or card and is not included in the booking price. The maximum vehicle height is 6ft 6in. You must leave your keys with VacationCare so staff can park the car. On your return, collect your luggage and then call the car park to arrange collection from the appropriate terminal meeting point.

Directions

From M56 heading towards Manchester leave at Junction 3a (signed A560) signposted Altrincham, Wythenshawe (ignore Junction 3 Stockport signs). Come back on yourself round the roundabout back onto M56. Leave at Junction 4 signed Wythenshawe Centre, Turn Left and proceed along Simons Way, passing ASDA & B&M on your left. Then turn left at the next Traffic Lights into Rowlands Way. 50 yards on the left is a BP Station, Immediately turn left after the BP Petrol station and go up the spiral ramp, which is signposted Asda, Wythenshawe town centre multi storey & Vacationcare. At the top of the Ramp, keep to the LEFT and come into the 8th Floor and STOP at the Barrier and wait. Once your vehicle has been scanned and recorded for existing damage the barrier will be opened by a staff member.

Arrival procedure

Please call 7464 448279 when you are 10 minutes away from the car park.
Parking is within designated pre-identified spaces and ALL keys are retained and stored within a bespoke internal Office Security Room, with its own independent 24/7 CCTV monitoring System.

Return procedure

Terminal 1

From the arrival's hall call Vacationcare and let them know you're ready for collection. Walk past WH Smiths and turn Left through to exit the terminal. This will bring you outside Streetcars Taxi Rank, look directly across the road and you'll see a metal framed multi storey car park (Terminal 1 Short Stay Arrivals Car Park). To the right of the multi storey is a grey hut that has a sign saying T1 Meet & Greet Self Service. Wait by the hut and the shuttle bus will drive through the barrier for over height vehicles to collect you from there.

Terminal 2 –

From the arrival's hall call Vacationcare to let them know you're ready for collection. Follow signs for T2 West Pick up... Once inside T2 West multi storey get in the lift and go to Level 1. Wait by the lift and the shuttle bus will collect you from there.

Terminal 3

From the arrival's hall call Vacationcare to let them know you're ready for collection. As you walk outside you will see a bridge that connects the Terminal to the Multi storey Carpark, under the bridge you will see 2 telephone boxes with a doorway to the left. Walk through that doorway and either go up the escalator which takes you to level 3 if you have hand luggage or alternatively get in a lift and go to level 3. Once at level 3 walk into the multi storey via the electronic automatic double door and stand by those doors inside the carpark and the shuttle bus will collect you from there.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be an additional charge of £10.00 payable to the car park upon arrival for the following vehicles: Minibuses, Vans, Pickup trucks.

Early or Late Arrivals

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £10 per day. This is subject to change.
If you come back earlier than booked we will not be able to refund any unused days.
