Manchester Airport T3 Multi Storey – P14

Manchester Airport T3 Multi Storey – P14 is the closest official self-parking option for Terminal 3, around a 1–3-minute walk from the terminal. Park the car yourself, keep your keys and walk directly to check-in. Most spaces are covered and there is no shuttle or key handover.

P14 is particularly convenient for short trips, passengers with luggage and anybody who wants their car to remain where they parked it. Its main disadvantage is price: the nearby Mid Stay and shuttle-based products may provide better value for longer holidays.

Why choose T3 Multi Storey – P14?

  • Closest T3 self-parking: approximately 1–3 minutes from the terminal.
  • Covered parking: most spaces are protected from the weather.
  • Keep your keys: the vehicle remains where you parked it.
  • No shuttle: walk directly to Terminal 3.
  • ANPR entry: the barrier normally recognises the booked registration automatically.
  • Official airport parking: operated within the Manchester Airport complex.

How does P14 compare with T3 Mid Stay – P15?

Both are official self-parking options where you choose a space and keep your keys. P14 is a covered multi-storey approximately 1–3 minutes from Terminal 3. P15 is an outdoor mid-stay car park with a longer walk of approximately 3–8 minutes.

Choose P14 for covered parking and the shortest self-park route. Choose P15 if its live price is lower and a slightly longer outdoor walk is acceptable.

How does P14 compare with Drop & Go Express – P10?

Both are extremely close to Terminal 3. With P14, you find a space and keep your keys. With Drop & Go Express, you leave the keys and airport staff move the vehicle to a storage area, leaving you with an approximately one-minute walk to the terminal.

Choose P14 if you want the car to remain where you parked it. Choose Drop & Go Express if you would rather avoid searching for a space or carrying luggage through a multi-storey.

How does P14 compare with JetParks?

Both allow you to park the car yourself and keep your keys. P14 is beside Terminal 3 and requires only a short walk, while JetParks requires a shuttle journey of approximately 10–15 minutes and is generally positioned as the airport’s budget option for longer trips.

Choose P14 for maximum convenience. Choose JetParks when obtaining a lower price is more important than covered parking and walking directly to the terminal.

Important things to know

Follow signs for P14, as the airport signs may not display the T3 Multi Storey name. Enter the correct registration when booking so the ANPR system can recognise the vehicle. Pre-booked customers should use the intercom if the barrier does not open rather than taking a turn-up token. The maximum height is 2 metres, trailers are not accepted and additional charges apply when leaving later than the booked departure time. Terminal 3 currently serves Ryanair passengers, so confirm the departure terminal before booking.

Directions

Exit the M56 at Junction 5 and keep right, following signs for Terminal 3. At the first traffic lights, use the left-hand lane signposted T3, Wilmslow, Wythenshawe and Gatley, joining Ringway Road West. Continue straight at the second traffic lights, passing the business park. At the third traffic lights, turn right for T3 and Car Rental Return. Continue for approximately 250 yards and take the first left onto Ringway Road. At the first roundabout, turn right into Parade Road, following signs for P14/T3 Multi Storey. The entrance is the second left after the zebra crossing.

Couldn’t get on car park, then had to wait 10 minutes for an attendant who despite us having a voucher and receipt wouldn’t let us on, had to take a token and promise to pay at the end of my trip. Office not open Sat pm or Sunday, further phone calls before a vague promise that they would refund my fee if I had to pay again on exiting the car park. On return unable to exit via ANPR, waited for an attendant who used his pass to let us off the car park. A lot of worry and time waisted.

I wanted an easy park close to the terminal. It was close but the number plate readers didn’t read my number plate and so I had to take a token which then made getting out of the park much more difficult

Having booked through your site, I was told that I was actually parking with "secureparking.com" (or something like that) but no description of exactly WHERE that was. There were no signs to be seen anywhere with either your or securepark's name. On on arrival at the Multi-story, a sign did set out the charges that WOULD be incurred if I entered, so I drove around for another 15 min looking for the correct car park! You need a sign at the entrance so your customers know they are in the right place and clearer instructions upon booking.

Great. I prepaid for two days parking. On arrival the plastic disc did not drop down. My flight was three hours late coming back to Manchester but when I drove to the barrier it raised immediately...wonderful! Will use you again.

Great! Slightly confusing in that the instructions say to head to "short stay T3 parking" - not the multi-storey which it actually was. Also booking instructions advises that on entry the machine will issue a token - this didn't happen & doesn't apparently for pre-booked parking - so instructions definitely need updating. Otherwise, no issues - convenient location for T3

No conflicts of interest here readers, just a traveller wanting best parking options. Used Airport Park Shop to quickly see options and prices. Surprisingly the short term parking booked in advance was cheaper than either the long term parking or the meet and greet services. So bit of a no brainer there. If it weren't for a quick and easy comparison site i would've reluctantly chosen the long term parking on the assumption it would be much cheaper. Payment process is quick, i took a printed copy of the receipt (with booking number) just in case; i didn't need it but some reviewers here have commented about issues, so i took it in case. Drove up to barrier at entry and held my breath. You don't need to do anything, not even wind the window down as its all done by number plate recognition. Two seconds later up goes the barrier. On the way out four days later, same story, held my breath, two second delay, up goes the barrier. I drive a battered old Yaris and i haven't cleaned it in some months, so the number plate is not pristine and it worked ok for me. No complaints, will definitely use again. Safe journeys to you all.
