Manchester Airport T2 West Multi Storey – P3 is an official covered self-parking option around a 4–5-minute walk from Terminal 2. Drive directly into the barrierless car park, choose an appropriate space and keep your keys. There is no shuttle, reception or key handover.

P3 uses cameras to record vehicles entering and leaving, so there are no barriers or on-site payment machines. Pre-booked customers simply drive in and out, while anybody arriving without a booking must pay remotely after their visit.

How does P3 compare with T2 East Multi Storey – P1?

Both are official covered self-parking options close to Terminal 2, and both allow you to keep your keys. P1 is the airport’s most convenient T2 self-parking option and uses conventional ANPR barriers. P3 is slightly farther around the west side of the terminal and operates without barriers.

Choose P1 when obtaining the shortest possible walk is the priority. Choose P3 if it provides the better quote or availability, or if you prefer to drive in and out without stopping at barriers.

How does P3 compare with T2 Park & Walk – P4?

Both allow you to park the car yourself, keep your keys and walk to Terminal 2. P3 is a covered multi-storey approximately 4–5 minutes away, while P4 is an uncovered, ground-level car park around 4–6 minutes from the terminal.

Choose P3 for covered parking. Choose P4 if its live price is lower and leaving the vehicle outside is not a concern.

How does P3 compare with Mid Stay Multi Storey – P12?

Both are covered self-parking products where you keep your keys and avoid a shuttle. P3 is approximately 4–5 minutes from Terminal 2, while P12 requires a covered walk of around 10–15 minutes.

Choose P3 for the shorter route to check-in. Choose P12 if it produces a sufficiently lower quote to justify the longer walk.

Important things to know

Follow signs for P3, as the airport signs may not display the T2 West Multi Storey name. There are no barriers or payment machines. Pre-booked customers can drive straight in and out, but the correct registration must be entered when booking. Turn-up customers must pay online or by telephone before midnight on the day after leaving. Use the levels designated for pre-booked parking rather than the ground-floor pick-up area. The maximum vehicle height is 2 metres, trailers are not accepted and additional charges apply if the booked departure time is exceeded.

Directions

Exit the M56 at Junction 5 and keep left, following signs for Terminal 2. At the first roundabout, take the second exit towards T2. At the second roundabout, take the second exit onto Palma Avenue, following signs for P3. Keep right and continue past the terminal building and P1. At the next roundabout, take the first exit for P3. Take the first exit again at the following roundabout. The entrance will be immediately on the left as the road bends around the multi-storey.

Arrival procedure

-On arrival, please drive to the barrier, which will scan your number plate and rise automatically, and park in any space.

- If the barrier doesn’t lift automatically, please press the help button to call for assistance.

- Once you’ve parked, keep your keys and walk to the terminal, which is 1-5 minutes away.

Return procedure

- On your return, please walk back to the car park after leaving the airport and collect your car from where you left it.

- Then drive to the exit barrier, which will rise automatically allowing you to drive off. If you encounter any problems, press the intercom for help.

Security

The car park has entry and exit barriers, lighting, fencing, patrols and CCTV. It also holds the Park Mark Award for security.

Disabled facilities

The car park has designated Blue Badge bays, which are all signposted and work on a first come first served basis. Please note that you'll need to display your badge while you're away.

Additional information

- This is an official airport car park where you keep your keys and walk to the terminal.

- Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m entry barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). If your vehicle is taller than this, we suggest parking in one of the JetParks car parks instead.

If you're delayed when picking up your car, you'll need to pay for the extra parking at the car park's normal rate, (prices are subject to change). If you pick your car up early, you won't be given a refund.

Please know that pre-booked parking is available on all levels, except the ground floor. If you park there, you'll be charged additional fees.
