Manchester Airport Mid Stay parking is an official, on-site option that bridges the gap between the budget "JetParks" and the premium "Multi-Storey" products. It is particularly popular for business travelers and weekenders who want to avoid shuttle buses without paying the full "front-door" price.

Mid Stay is a highly convenient "Park & Walk" service located on-airport, offering a quick 3–10 minute stroll to Terminals 1 and 3. It is a "Keep Your Keys" facility, meaning you park your own vehicle in your chosen space and it stays exactly where you left it. The site is fully official and highly secure, featuring the police-vetted Park Mark Award and seamless ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) for easy entry and exit.

Overview

No Shuttles Required: Forget waiting for buses; you can walk directly to the check-in desks. It is approximately a 3-minute walk to T3 and an 8–10 minute walk to T1.

Key Retention: Unlike "Meet & Greet" or some "Park & Rides," you don't have to hand over your keys. You maintain total control over your vehicle throughout your trip.

Streamlined Entry/Exit: The gates use ANPR technology. As long as you have pre-booked, the barrier will automatically lift as you approach, making for a contactless and stress-free experience.

Excellent Security: As an official airport car park, it is monitored 24/7 by CCTV, protected by perimeter fencing, and undergoes regular staff patrols.

Generous Grace Period: The car park typically offers a 6-hour grace period for arrivals and departures, providing a safety net if your flight is slightly delayed.

Terminal 2 Access: While primarily for T1 and T3, T2 passengers can also use this car park by walking to T1 and using the moving Skylink walkway (approx. 15–20 minutes total).

Accessibility

There are designated Blue Badge bays in the car park. They're available on a first come, first served basis, and you'll need to display your badge while you're away.

Directions

The postcode for satnavs and a link for what3words will be in your booking confirmation to make your journey easier.

Arrival procedure

When you arrive, drive up to the barrier – it'll scan your number plate and lift automatically. Park in any space, keep your keys, and stroll to the terminal. You can walk to T2 in 10 to 15 minutes, and T3 in 6 to 8 minutes

Return procedure

When you get back, walk from the terminal to the car park and pick up your car from where you left it. Head to the exit barrier, which will lift on its own.

Additional information

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £61.40 per 24 hours, which is subject to change.

Make sure you've sent the car park your car reg at least 5 days before your parking booking. Your booking will be cancelled if they don't have your reg.
