Increasing problems with congestion are being reported at Luton airport, and the airport is advising passengers to make sure they arrive with ample time to spare before their flight to avoid the risk of missing it.

Directions to Luton Airport:

To and From the East and A1 - Access to London Luton Airport from the East and A1 is via the A505 dual carriageway through Hitchin. The airport lies just off the A505 and is clearly signposted.

To and From the M25 - Access to London Luton Airport from the West is possible through several routes. If approaching via Dunstable, follow the airport signs. Alternative approaches include travelling via M40/M25 to join the M1 and then exit via Junction 10. Exit the M25 at Junction 21 for the access to the M1.

To and From the M1 - London Luton Airport is only 30 minutes from North London, 15 minutes from the M25 and 5 minutes from the M1. The airport is just two miles from the M1 motorway. Exit the M1 at Junction 10. The route to the airport is clearly signposted.

Follow signs for the short stay car park, and you will be met our chauffeur at the designated meet and greet point which is just through the barrier on the right.

Please call 40 minutes before the prearranged Meet and Greet meeting on the number provided in your confirmation email. It is important to make this call if you are running late or early. That way our staff will be aware of your situation and assistance will be allocated accordingly.

Follow signs for Terminal Car Park 1

Continue to Level 3 of the Terminal Car Park where you will be met by 1 of our members of staff.

Return procedure

Please check your booking confirmation as details may vary.

Directions will be given to you on arrival.

Please call when you arrive in the baggage hall on the phone number provided in your confirmation email, this will give the car park ample time to ensure your vehicle is waiting for you at the agreed meeting point.

The car park will cover your exit fees for up to 15 minutes. If the driver has to wait longer than 15 minutes you will need to pay £7.00 to exit the car park and this will continue to increase the longer the driver has to wait; please note that this is an airport charge.

Disabled facilities

The service is ideal for disabled passengers, but note that adapted vehicles cannot be accepted for safety reasons.

Additional information

There is a fee set by the airport of £3.80 for the first 15 minutes which you will be required to pay.

In order to book this service you will be required to provide the following information - Inbound and Outbound flight numbers, car details and a contact telephone number.

Minimum stays/charges may apply at this car park at certain times of the year.

Please note that on longer stays a 30 miles round trip can occur with additional mileage involved in driving the cars to the holding areas on drop off and return.
