Luton ShortRun by Airparks

Book now from £0 for 7 days parking.

This long-term car park is situated less than 5 minutes from the airport and transfers are on-request throughout the day and night. Traffic around Luton airport can be heavy at rush hour so customers are advised to allow plenty of time. The car park is staffed 24 hours a day and its CCTV and 15 foot high perimeter fencing make it a secure option. Keys should be left with the operator. Vans can be accepted but this option should be selected when making the booking.

Arrival procedure

Please check your email confirmation for details.

When you arrive at the car park, please park in front of the check-in building on the right, inside the main gates. Then offload your bags and head to the check-in building where you'll be met by one of the car park's friendly staff who'll take your keys and check you in. Please make sure you have your booking confirmation with you. You'll be given a ticket that you'll need to keep with you for your return, and the staff will park your car for you. Then, just take the transfer bus to the airport.

You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.

Departure procedure

Please check your confirmation email for the latest details.

When you return, leave the terminal following signs for Bus Bay R and find the bus with 'ShortRun' written on the destination board. The driver will scan the receipt you were given when you parked your car and take you back to the car park.

If you lose your ticket, you'll need to answer some security questions and show photo ID, so make sure you have one with you.

If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. You can't get a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.

Security

This car park has CCTV and has been awarded the Park Mark award for security.

Disabled facilities

Blue Badge Bays are available which are first come, first served. The buses are also wheelchair accessible.

Additional information

Maximum vehicle dimensions are: 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions. There are larger spaces for longer vehicles, but you'll need to book the 'Larger vehicle' package for those. Vehicles that have a taxi licence plate can be parked on-site but can not take advantage of our Meet & Greet or Return Greet services.

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your recommend check-in time.

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport. It's a good idea to leave yourself around 25 minutes to park at Central Car Storage and transfer to the airport. You might need longer during the rush hour between 04:00 and 08:00.

Please advise immediately on the number on your confirmation if your return flight is cancelled or if for any reason you are not returning at the expected time. Additional charges will be payable to the car park if your return is not on the date stipulated.

The cancellation charge is £10.00.

You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.

Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, your transfers to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times. The peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 0400 and 0900, 1300 and 1500 and 1700 and 1900 on other days.

Our car key was taken from us when we arrived at the Car Park and we got straight onto the Mini Bus for a 5 minute ride to the terminal building. We returned at 1am - a quick call and the mini van was there to take us back to our car within 10 minutes. Fantastic service thank you.

Called them as asked on the card yesterday, just as passing through baggage claim as we only had carry on bags. Got to the E bay & saw the bus pulling away, the guy had said the bus was on its way for us. We waited another 15 minutes, no further bus appeared, called them again to say we were waiting, another 15 minutes & the guy said there were 2 buses running, we said where are they then? Called yet again, we had now been waiting 40 minutes, & a guy said he would come straight away, which he did, a nice guy with a beard, who tried to explain why we had been left there, but we were not happy. Altogether we had been 55 minutes by the time we arrived at our car, & when we did arrive the other bus was just sitting there! When this was Central Car Storage we had excellent service, a family run business, always polite & on time. This is not acceptable at all, we will not be using this shower again.

From our recent holiday Short Run was a great start, easy smooth book in and fast service being so close to the airport and exactly the same on our return. If we fly from Luton again we will definitely use again.
