Official Premium Parking
Compare and pre-book this car park at London City airport to save up to 60% off gate prices.
Premium Parking is London City Airport’s closest self-parking option. The dedicated bays are around 40 metres from the terminal, giving you a walk of less than one minute. Park the car yourself, keep your keys and head straight to check-in.
The bays are larger than standard spaces, making it easier to unload luggage or get passengers out. You pay more for the location and extra room—not for somebody else to park the car.
Why choose Premium Parking?
- Less than a minute from the terminal: the closest official self-parking spaces.
- Larger bays: approximately 3 metres by 6 metres.
- Keep your keys: the car remains where you parked it.
- No shuttle: walk directly to the terminal.
- ANPR entry: use the dedicated Premium lane on arrival.
- Official airport parking: protected by CCTV, fencing, barriers and regular patrols.
How does Premium compare with On-Site Parking?
Both are official self-parking products where you keep your keys. Standard On-Site Parking is around a five-minute walk, while Premium is less than one minute away and provides wider bays.
Choose Premium when the shorter walk and additional space justify the price difference. Otherwise, On-Site Parking offers the same basic keep-your-keys service without charging quite so much for four minutes.
How does Premium compare with Valet Parking?
Both place you less than a minute from the terminal. With Premium, you find your own bay and keep your keys. With Valet, you leave the keys and airport staff park the car.
Choose Premium if you want a wider space and prefer the car to remain where you left it. Choose Valet if avoiding the search for a bay matters more. Compare live prices, as Valet is not always the more expensive option.
Important things to know
Blue Badge spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vehicles must fit beneath the 3.5-metre entrance barrier; motorhomes, lorries, caravans and trailers are not accepted. Keep the ticket issued on entry, as you may need it when leaving.
