Liverpool APL Meet & Greet

APL Meet & Greet takes you straight to the terminal rather than making you visit the car park first. Call around 15 minutes before arrival, drive into the Express Drop-Off car park and hand your keys to the APL driver. Check-in is then about a two-minute walk away.

APL parks your car at its secure compound and returns it to the Express Drop-Off area after you call on your return. Current terms add a £6 airport charge on arrival and another £6 on collection, so compare prices with the extra £12 included.

How does APL compare with Official Meet & Greet?

Liverpool Airport’s official service uses a dedicated car park, self-service key kiosk and covered one-minute walk. APL provides a traditional chauffeur handover in the Express Drop-Off area, around two minutes from the terminal.

APL makes sense when it is cheaper after adding the £12 airport charges or you prefer handing the keys directly to a driver. If the final prices are close, the official service offers the simpler setup.

How does APL Meet & Greet compare with APL Park & Ride?

With Park & Ride, you drive to APL’s compound and take the short shuttle. Meet & Greet lets you drive directly to the terminal and leaves the parking to the driver.

Choose Park & Ride for the lower price. Choose Meet & Greet when avoiding the car park and shuttle is worth paying more for.

Important things to know

You must call APL around 15 minutes before reaching the airport and leave your car key with the driver. Remove house keys and unnecessary keyrings. Trailers, motorhomes and oversized vehicles are not accepted. Current booking terms state that £6 is payable for each use of the Express Drop-Off car park: £12 across the outward and return journeys.

Security

Your vehicle remains in safe hands, APL Parking operates a secure site protected by electronic barriers and automatic number plate recognition, allowing access only to registered vehicles with a valid booking.

The car park is fully enclosed with security fencing, floodlighting and CCTV monitoring all on-site activity. For added reassurance, all APL staff wear uniforms, carry verifiable identification and are fully insured to drive customer vehicles.

Disabled facilities

Meet and Greet parking is well suited to customers who require the closest possible parking option and an easier journey through the airport. By dropping your vehicle near the terminal, you can avoid shuttle transfers and long walks, making the experience more convenient and accessible.
