Inverness
Inverness-shire
IV2 7JB
Distance to airport
The car park is located within walking distance of the airport terminal.
Transfers from airport
Within walking distance of the airport terminal. However customers should note the Long Stay car park is located some 600m from the terminal entrance and no shuttle service is provided.
Directions
Inverness airport is located approx. 10 miles north west out of Inverness and is best accessed via the A96. The postcode for satellite navigational systems is IV2 7JB.
Directions from the A96:
Follow the A96 (Inverness to Aberdeen Road) out of Inverness without turning off at all. Carry on past the wood processing factory and Petty church (both on your left) until you drive through some woods, there will be a roundabout after the woods. Take the first exit left, signposted for the airport. Go straight across the next roundabout and at the third roundabout take the first exit left, heading round towards the airport. Follow the road round and at the fourth roundabout take the second exit straight into the airport. From here follow signs for Long Term parking.
Arrival procedure
Follow the signs left for the Long Stay car park. The Long Stay car park is located on the left approx 400m down a tree lined road. Take a ticket from the entry barrier, park your vehicle and retain the ticket. Use the marked walkway to access the terminal building.
You are able to drop off passengers and luggage at the Short Term car park, as parking there is free for the first twenty minutes.
Access to the terminal forecourt is not permitted.
Return procedure
Take your car park ticket and a copy of your booking confirmation to the information desk in the terminal so your ticket can be validated. Then just collect your car and drive home.
Security
The car park has an excellent security record. It is covered by CCTV 24 hours a day and regularly patrolled by the airport's security guards. It is also protected by a fence all round the outside, an entry barrier and lighting at night.
Insurance
The booking is subject to the operator’s terms and conditions, which contain exemption clauses and limit their liabilities. The car parks accept responsibility for damage proved to be caused by their own negligence and are insured accordingly, but will not normally accept responsibility for the acts of a third party. Full details are available on request. Car parks where your car is parked for you have twenty-four hour surveillance and security compounds. Self-park car parks are open to the public and, accordingly, cars are parked at the owner’s risk. All claims must be reported prior to leaving the car park.
Disabled facilities
Disabled customers who hold a Blue Badge can pay the rates for the Long Stay Car Park, but park in the Short Term Car Park, which is the nearest car park to the terminal. On their return they will be required to hand in their car park ticket and Blue Badge to the information desk in the terminal building, who will then validate their ticket so they can exit the car park.
Additional information
No motor homes, lorries, trailers or caravans are permitted even if multiple spaces are booked.

Car park is fine but it's a bit of a hike to get to the terminal. About 10 mins walk. If it was raining it wouldn't be good.

Booking it was straight forward - finding somewhere to park not so easy because there were no spaces

Car parking was certainly well priced, but a person with limited mobility would find the walk from the terminal to the parking place onerous, and no alternative arrangements are in place. You might be able to negotiate for blue badge holders to use the parking place next to the airport.

This was overall a very quickly and easily organised arrangement. Although the parking is close to the airport for some I think it would be a little difficult with heavy bags as there is no bus facility. Payment was quick and easy and the validation of the ticket on the return journey was the same. Overall a pleasant cheaper option to the other parking facilities available.

Plenty space at the car park but it is a walk from the terminal building with no proper path. Reasonable price but will still add quite a lot of a family holiday. I recommend families to drop off somone at the terminal building with the luggage... That means you have to go into the short term car park, take a ticket, drop off, get out of it then drive to the long stay car park. The first twenty minutes are free there. I think the parking at Inverness Airport hasn't been thought out at all and the lack of path and transport between the long stay car park and the terminal building simply says it all. If the Highlands truly wants to be serious about sorting out transport, then here is a good place to start...
