Parking is excellent at Inverness made possible by remaining small but still no shelters for people waiting to be picked up by relatives etc.

After landing in Inverness airport at 2205 waited ages in the queue to get my prepaid ticket checked only to find out that the machine did not work. I was then told to just press the button at the barrier and it would be lifted on request. After waiting in the queue of cars to get out the barrier ceased to work manually then had to back up and drive thru a very narrow entrance to reach the other barrier which was working. I managed to get clear of the car park at 2240, not the best experience considering the time of night.
