Directions

Good To Go is in the airport's Long Stay car park.

From the M4, leave the motorway at junction 4 onto Tunnel Road East. Keep going along this road and as it divides, keep to the left. You'll then come to a roundabout and will need to take the third exit onto Nene Road. At the end of the road, take a right onto Northern Perimeter Road West. Keep going along this road and eventually you should see the car park on your left, signposted Long Stay T5.

Info

Arrival procedure

The car park has automatic number plate recognition, so make sure you give us your car registration number when you book.

At the entry barrier, the machine will read and recognise your registration number, give you a ticket and lift automatically. Keep the ticket with you as you'll need it when you get back. Then, drive in and park in a space. We recommend that you make a note of the zone and row you've parked in on your ticket, along with the nearest bus stop to make it easier to find your car when you get back. Then, just wait at the bus stop for the transfer bus and you'll be at check-in in around 7 minutes.

If you have any problems, press the button at the barrier for help.

Info

Return procedure

On your return, you'll need to head to Bus Stop 21 just outside the arrivals hall and hop on a bus back to the car park.

Once you're at the car park, drive to the exit barrier, insert the ticket you were given when you first arrived and the barrier will lift and you're off home!

If your booking reference isn't printed on your ticket, or you have any problems, press the call button for help.

Info

Security

The car park is manned 24 hours a day and has CCTV, fences and frequent patrols by high profile security vehicles. The car park even holds the Park Mark security award accredited by the police.

"We were not able to collect our car on the due date as my wife had an accident in South Africa, broke her pelvis, and could not fly for a further ten days. There was no simple way to contact the BCP Long Stay Car Park at Terminal 5 but a friend called them to advise the problem. We could not re-book the extra time at the original rate and were penalised by the car park for being late collecting the car and had to pay their premium, eye-watering, daily rate. This must happen to other people too and there should be a system, ideally on-line, to enable people to extend their stay in the car park in extreme circumstances, especially if they can produce a doctor's certificate to prove it. When we collected our car, I showed the office in the car park the doctor's letter explaining that my wife had been unable to fly for ten days but they just shrugged their shoulders and did not want to know. So we paid an additional £216."
