Overview

Arora Multi-Storey Car Park is a self-park option within walking distance of Gatwick South Terminal. Park your own car, keep your keys and walk to the terminal via the Hilton hotel, so there is no shuttle bus to wait for and your vehicle stays where you leave it.

It is particularly useful if you want the simplicity of a walkable car park without paying automatically for Gatwick's closest Short Stay spaces. The main limitation is that it is really a South Terminal option; passengers flying from North would still need to use Gatwick's free inter-terminal shuttle.

If Short Stay is substantially more expensive for your dates, Arora can offer much of the same convenience without requiring a shuttle.

How does Arora compare with Gatwick Mid Stay South?

Gatwick Mid Stay South is also around a six-minute walk from the terminal and lets you keep your keys, making it one of the closest like-for-like comparisons with Arora.

The main distinction is that Mid Stay is an official Gatwick parking product, while Arora is independently operated. With such similar walking times, compare the live price and booking conditions rather than assuming the official product will automatically be the better choice.

How does Arora compare with Gatwick Holiday Parking South?

Gatwick Holiday Parking South Terminal also lets you park yourself and keep your keys, but it uses the Long Stay South car park and requires a shuttle to reach the terminal.

Holiday Parking South is more likely to appeal when price is the priority. Arora is the stronger option if being able to leave the car and simply walk to the terminal is worth paying more for.

Arrival procedure

Drive to the Arora Gatwick Car Park next to the Hilton Hotel at the South Terminal. The barrier will open automatically on arrival. Head to levels 4, 6 or above and park in any available space. Accessible parking is available on the lower levels.

Keep your keys and make a note of where you parked. Then head into the Hilton and go through their exclusive indoor walkway to the South Terminal. The walk takes around 6 minutes.

Departure procedure

When you get back, head back to the car park and drive to the exit. If you've stayed longer than your booking, pay any extra using the QR code or NFC tag before leaving. If the barrier doesn't open, use the intercom for help.

If ANPR doesn't recognise your vehicle, take a ticket on entry and keep it safe to scan when you leave.

Accessibility

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2m entry barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of up to 1 hour at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rates, which are subject to change:
- Up to 2 hours: £12
- Up to 4 hours: £17
- Up to 8 hours: £28
- Up to 12 hours: £33
- Up to 24 hours: £38

EV Charging:
Fuuse chargers offer up to 22kW and run on a first come, first served basis. Just bring your own charging cable. It costs 65p per kwh.

Transfers

Transfers are not required. You can walk to the terminal. The walk takes around 6 minutes.
