Transfers from airport
Transfers run every 5-10 minutes and take approximately 2 minutes to reach the airport.
This off-site car park is just a two minute drive from the airport and buses run every 5 to 10 minutes but the operator suggest nevertheless that you arrive 45 minutes before check-in opens. The car park is fully secure with security patrols, CCTV and good fencing. Automatic Number Plate Recognition is in use so it is important to give the correct details when booking. Disabled bays are available but cannot be pre-booked. The buses have low access and there are also disabled toilets in the car park.
Directions
From Forth Road Bridge & Glasgow:
Follow signs for the airport, from M8 head for Newbridge Roundabout. At Newbridge Roundabout continue onto A8 for about a mile, take left turn just before Airport Turn Off and continue to the bottom of Ingliston Road.
From Edinburgh & East:
Travel down airport road at Hilton Hotel roundabout, take first left onto Fairview Road, turn right car park at end of Ingliston Road.
Arrival procedure
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
Camera Recognition System in Operation. Please ensure we have correct car registration.
On arrival please drive up to touch screen kiosk at car park entrance barrier. If details are not on screen select option: I HAVE A BOOKING and enter your reference number. Then print a ticket, go to nearest space and bus stop, where you will be picked up and taken to Airport.
Return procedure
Please check your booking confirmation for details.
The ticket will have the phone number to call for your return. You will be dropped off and picked up at Stance 10.
Security
The car park has full CCTV coverage, security fencing and regular patrols by security staff so you can be assured your car could not be safer.
Disabled facility
There are allocated disabled bays that are available on a first come first served basis. Both transfer buses are low floored for easy access. There is also a disabled toilet facility.
Additional information
This car park does not accept large vehicles such as Transit vans, or any vehicles with trailers.
Please make sure to bring your confirmation with you.
We strongly recommend that you arrive at the car park at least 45 mins. before your stated airline check-in time.

Trouble-free. A bit dearer than some other options but I prefer self-parking to having others play 'chess' with my car. But, the park is busy, with little space between cars. The bus could have been a bit quicker on arrival back at the airport. Overall, a reassuring experience. Would use again.

On arriving at the FHP Car Park My name was on the machine as you drive in (I was impressed by the accuracy as I was a bit early to say the least. I found a parking space and parked the car and I was only 25 yards from the bus stop and the driver saw
me getting my bag out of the boot of the car and
waited for me (very kind) We then had a trip round the car park to go to the airport and when I arrived there I had to ask the driver which number I ought to look for on my return and he very kindly told me that it was 6. I had been in such a hurry to catch the bus that I didn't pay attention to remembering the stance number. On my return I caught the bus and was very aprehensive about where I had parked the car but when the bus arrived I was so glad it was the gentleman who had been driving the bus when I was departing Edinburgh. The gentleman was really kind and helped me get my luggage off the car and my car was just a few yards away from the bus stop. Full marks for the excellent service I will be very willing to tell anyone how good the service was.
