Drop and Go
Compare and pre-book this car park at Edinburgh airport to save up to 60% off gate prices.
Drop & Go is a valet-style park-and-ride service with on-demand shuttles taking around 2–3 minutes to Edinburgh Airport. Drive to the designated Drop & Go area, unload your luggage and leave your keys with the team. Staff park the car while you take the included bus to the terminal.
The main advantage is combining one of Edinburgh’s shortest off-airport transfers with no need to find a parking space. Buses operate continuously, 24 hours a day, but you must leave your keys.
Why choose Drop & Go?
- 2–3-minute transfer: one of the closest off-airport parking services.
- On-demand buses: shuttles operate continuously, 24 hours a day.
- Staff parking: leave the car in the arrival area and let the team park it.
- ANPR check-in: number plate recognition provides quick entry.
- Accessible facilities: accessible buses, parking bays, toilets and ramp access are provided.
- Park Mark security: the site has CCTV, security fencing and regular staff patrols.
How does Drop & Go compare with Secure Airparks Drop & Go?
These products operate from the same Secure Airparks site and provide essentially the same parking service. Both use ANPR entry, require you to leave your keys and provide a short, continuous shuttle to the airport.
Compare the live price, cancellation terms and booking conditions rather than choosing between them based on the product name. The arrival and collection procedure should be almost identical.
How does Drop & Go compare with Holiday Extras Drop & Go?
Both are staffed park-and-ride products where you leave your keys. This Drop & Go service operates from the Secure Airparks site with on-demand 2–3-minute transfers, while Holiday Extras Drop & Go uses a separate car park and advertises two-minute buses every 10–15 minutes.
Choose this product if an on-demand shuttle or its price is more attractive. Choose Holiday Extras Drop & Go if its self-service kiosk and key-drop procedure or booking terms suit you better.
How does Drop & Go compare with Secure Airparks Self Park?
Both use the Secure Airparks site and provide the same short journey to the airport. With Drop & Go, staff park the vehicle and retain your keys. With Self Park, you choose a space and take your keys with you.
Choose Drop & Go if you want to avoid finding a space. Choose Self Park if you want the car to remain where you parked it.
Important things to know
You must leave your keys and the car may be moved within the secured compound. Enter the correct registration when booking so the ANPR system can recognise your vehicle. Standard cars must fit within a 2.4 by 4.8-metre bay; trailers and commercial vehicles are not accepted. Current instructions direct passengers to stand 10 in the airport coach park, but check your booking confirmation in case the collection point changes.
Overview
Valet-Style Handover: You don't need to hunt for a parking spot. Simply pull into the "Drop & Go" lane, unload your bags, and hand your keys to the professional team who will park the car for you.
Ultra-Fast Transfers: Because the car park is located almost adjacent to the runway, the shuttle journey is exceptionally short, dropping you off at Stance 9 (right across from the terminal).
On-Demand Shuttles: Unlike fixed-schedule buses, these shuttles operate 24/7 and are dispatched based on customer arrival, minimizing your wait time in the cold.
ANPR Efficiency: The system recognizes your number plate on arrival, allowing the barrier to lift automatically and speeding up the check-in process.
Top-Tier Security: The site is monitored by 24-hour patrols and CCTV, and it holds the police-vetted Park Mark Award for safety.
Simple Return: On your return, you simply text the car park when you have your luggage, and the shuttle will meet you at the terminal to bring you back to your waiting car.
