Aberdeen Airport Priority Parking

Priority is Aberdeen Airport’s closest self-parking option, less than 100 steps from check-in. It occupies the front section of the Short Stay car park, with wider bays and mainly undercover parking. Park yourself, keep your keys and walk straight across to the terminal.

Priority Security is also included, so the upgrade saves time after you enter the airport as well as before. Check your confirmation for the number of passengers covered.

How does Priority compare with Short Stay?

Priority is the closest section of the Short Stay car park. Standard Short Stay is still less than a two-minute walk away and also lets you keep your keys, but it has standard bays and does not normally include Priority Security.

Choose Priority when the wider spaces and faster security lane justify the difference. Otherwise, Short Stay provides nearly the same terminal convenience for less.

How does Priority compare with Long Stay?

Long Stay is Aberdeen Airport’s cheaper official option, with a free on-demand shuttle taking less than five minutes. Priority costs more but removes the bus journey and places you directly opposite check-in.

Choose Long Stay for value. Choose Priority when the shortest route, wider bays and Priority Security are worth paying for.

Important things to know

The car park has a 2.2-metre height restriction. Accessible spaces and two electric vehicle charging points are available within the Priority area. Make sure the correct registration is entered when booking and park only within the marked Priority section.

Directions

From the A96 follow signs for Aberdeen Airport. Take the exit for Aberdeen Airport and follow signs for the Short Stay car park.
Enter the Short Stay car park where you'll see the Priority Parking section.

Arrival procedure

Drive up to the barrier at the Short Stay car park, your car reg will be recognised and it will lift and give you a ticket. Continue through and follow signs for Priority Parking. At the next barrier enter the same ticket, drive in and find a space. From there walk to the terminal in 1 minute.
At Priority Security in the airport show your parking confirmation to the team and you'll be able to use the dedicated lane. Priority Security is for up to 4 people.

Return procedure

Walk back to the car park, drive to the barriers and they will lift automatically. If you have any problems press the help button on the barrier to speak to a member of the team.

Security

This car park is Park Mark awarded which means it has CCTV, fencing, entry/exit barriers and 24-hour staff patrols.
