Airparks Express Parking

Overview

Airparks Express is a third-party Aberdeen Airport parking option around a five-minute walk from the terminal. Drive through the ANPR barrier, choose an available space, park the car yourself and keep your keys. There is no shuttle bus to wait for.

The same International Gate parking operation is also sold through separate APH Aberdeen Express, Holiday Extras Express and Purple Parking Express products. Each has its own APS information page and can have a different price or booking terms, so it is worth comparing them.

Airparks Express vs Aberdeen Long Stay

Both let you park the car yourself and keep your keys. Aberdeen Long Stay is official airport parking and uses a free shuttle taking less than five minutes, while Airparks Express is around five minutes away on foot.

Choose Airparks Express if you would rather walk straight to the terminal and avoid waiting for a bus. Choose Long Stay if the live price is lower or you would rather take a short shuttle than walk with your luggage.

Airparks Express vs Aberdeen Short Stay

Aberdeen Short Stay is the closer option, at less than a two-minute walk from the terminal, and most of the parking is undercover. Like Airparks Express, you park yourself and keep your keys.

Short Stay is the convenience option. Airparks Express means walking a few extra minutes but gives you a third-party option that is particularly worth comparing when price matters.

Airparks Express vs the other Express products

APH Aberdeen Express, Holiday Extras Express and Purple Parking Express use the same underlying International Gate parking operation as Airparks Express. They nevertheless have separate APS product pages and can be offered at different prices or with different booking conditions, so compare the live price and flexibility for your dates.

Airparks Express Charge & Go and Larger Vehicles

Airparks Express Charge & Go is a variant of Airparks Express where you leave your keys and charging cable so staff can move and charge the vehicle while you are away. The current product aims to return the car with at least 80% charge.

Airparks Express Parking - Larger Vehicles uses the same parking operation but provides spaces intended for larger vehicles. Check the permitted dimensions for the product before booking rather than assuming the standard Airparks Express booking will accommodate an oversized vehicle.

From Aberdeen / the south: follow the A96 towards Inverness. After passing P&J Live on your right, turn right onto Dyce Drive towards the airport. Go through two sets of traffic lights, then turn right at the third set onto International Avenue. Pass Dyce Farm on your left and take the next left onto International Gate. Airparks Express is at the end of the road on your right.

From Inverness / the A96 north: at Craibstone Roundabout take the first exit towards the airport. Continue through three sets of traffic lights. After passing the Gulf petrol station on your right, turn right onto Argyll Way. At the end of the road turn left and Airparks Express will be on your right.

From Banff / Newmachar via the A947: cross the River Don bridge before entering Dyce and take the next right onto Dyce Drive towards the airport. At the T-junction turn right towards Kirkhill Industrial Estate. Continue through three sets of traffic lights and turn left at the fourth onto Argyll Road. Pass the Gulf petrol station, take the next right onto Argyll Way, then turn left at the end of the road. Airparks Express will be on your right.

Arrival procedure

When you get to the car park, drive up to the barrier. It will recognise your car reg and lift to let you in.

Park in an available bay and make a note of where. There are coloured zones to help you remember. It's best to park nose first in the bay for easy access to your boot and luggage. Keep your keys and make your way to the airport – it's a 5-minute walk.

Return procedure

When you get back, find your car and drive to the exit. The barrier will recognise your car reg and lift so you can exit the car park.

Accessibility

The car park has accessible parking bays and is around a 5-minute walk from the terminal, there's no need for a shuttle bus.

Airparks Express Parking - Larger Vehicles

This car park option is perfect for those travelling in larger vehicles.

Airparks Express Parking - Charge and Go

Return to car with at least 80% charge - your vehicle will be charged a day or two before you return, just remember to leave your charging cable.

The car park will also need to take your keys so they can move your car once it has been charged, which makes way for the other cars.
