Aberdeen Short Stay

Short Stay is Aberdeen Airport’s official multi-storey car park, less than a two-minute walk from the terminal. Park in your own bay, keep your keys and walk straight to check-in. Most spaces are undercover, which is particularly useful when Aberdeen supplies the weather.

Despite the name, it can be pre-booked for holidays as well as shorter trips. It sits between cheaper Long Stay and premium Priority Parking.

How does Short Stay compare with Long Stay?

Both are official self-parking options where you keep your keys. Short Stay is less than a two-minute walk from the terminal, while Long Stay uses a free on-demand shuttle taking under five minutes and is normally cheaper.

Choose Long Stay when price matters most. Choose Short Stay when walking straight to check-in is worth the extra cost.

How does Short Stay compare with Priority Parking?

Priority occupies the closest section of the Short Stay car park, less than 100 steps from check-in. It adds wider bays and Priority Security access, while standard Short Stay is still less than two minutes away.

Choose Priority for the wider spaces and faster security lane. Otherwise, Short Stay provides almost the same terminal convenience for less.

Important things to know

The multi-storey has a 2.2-metre height restriction. Trailers are not accepted, while vans must fit within one standard bay. Do not park in the marked Priority area unless you have booked it.

Short Stay Supersaver is a restricted rate that cannot be amended or cancelled. Business Plus rates may include Priority Security, so check the exact product shown on your confirmation.

Directions

From the A96

- From Craibstone Roundabout, follow the signs for the airport, taking the first exit.

- Continue through the first set of traffic lights.

- At the second set of lights, take a right onto Argyll Road and follow signs for the terminal building.

- The Short Stay Car Park is located on Brent Road.

Arrival procedure

- As you arrive at the car park, the barrier will recognise your number plate and lift to let you in.

- The machine will print out a ticket; be sure to keep this ticket safe.

- Park your car and walk to the terminal. If you have any problems, press the call button and a member of staff will help you.

Return procedure

- On your return, please walk back to the car park and collect your car.

- At the exit barrier, insert your ticket, and the barrier will lift and let you out. Please use the intercom button to call for assistance if the barrier doesn't raise.

Security

While you're away, your car will be protected by regular patrols from site staff, CCTV, a fence and floodlighting. The car park is manned 24 hours a day and has earned a Park Mark security award from the police.

Disabled facilities

The car park has bays for Blue Badge holders.

Additional information

- The car park cannot accommodate vehicles more than 2.2m high.

- Trailers are not permitted.

- Vans are allowed but must fit in a single space.
