Aberdeen Long Stay

Aberdeen Long Stay Parking is the airport’s official budget parking option, with a free shuttle taking less than five minutes. Park in any available bay, keep your keys and take the on-demand bus directly to the terminal.

Previously known as Flightpath, it is designed for longer trips and is normally Aberdeen Airport’s cheapest official car park.

How does Long Stay compare with APH Express?

Both let you park yourself and keep your keys. Long Stay is an official airport car park with a short shuttle, while APH Express is independently operated and around a five-minute walk from the terminal.

Choose Express if you prefer walking straight to check-in. Choose Long Stay when it is cheaper or you would rather take the bus than test Aberdeen’s weather.

How does Long Stay compare with Short Stay?

Short Stay is around a two-minute walk from the terminal and offers mostly covered parking, but it will usually cost more. Long Stay is the better-value option if a short shuttle journey is not a problem.

Important things to know

The car park is open 24 hours, but the shuttle operates from 4am until the final arriving flight. On your return, use the dedicated telephone outside the terminal to request collection. Trailers are not accepted, and vehicles must fit within a standard parking bay.

Directions

- From the A96 at Craibstone Roundabout, follow signs for Aberdeen Airport/Dyce Drive.

- Take exit for Aberdeen Airport and continue through the first set of traffic lights.

- At the second set, turn right into Argyll road.

- At the next roundabout, take the first left following signs for Long Stay car park, which is 300 yards along on the left-hand side.

Transfers to and from airport

Transfers run very few minutes and the journey takes just 2 minutes.

Arrival procedure

Please check your booking confirmation for details.

On arrival at the car park, please approach the entry barrier and wait for your plate to be recognised.

- You'll then be issued with a ticket. Remember to keep hold of this.

- If this doesn't work, please press the intercom to speak to a member of staff.

- Park in any available space and catch the free transfer bus to the terminal.

Departure procedure

Please check your booking confirmation for details.

- Make your way back to the car, drive to the barrier and insert your ticket. The barrier should lift and let you out.

- For any issues, use the intercom to speak to a member of staff.

Security

The car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. It has 24-hour patrols, CCTV, fencing, entry and exit barriers.

Disabled facilities

- Parking bays can be found by the office and the main bus stop.

- Wheelchair access is available on the courtesy coaches.

Additional information

- Trailers are not permitted.

- Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
