This long-stay car park is only a few minutes from the airport and buses run at 10-minute intervals. The buses have floors which can be lowered but if passengers require full access for wheel-chairs the operator recommends that the on-airport long stay car park is used. The Edinburgh Scotpark is an NCP and has the Park Mark award for its security. Customers should note that although there is no maximum car size, trailers are not allowed.

Directions

Leave the M9 at junction 1. At the roundabout take the exit onto the A8 Glasgow Road (signposted Airport, Ingliston, A8). If you're coming from the North you'll need the first exit, and from the South the fourth exit. Continue along this road for approximately 1.5 miles and when you reach Airport Junction continue forwards and stay on the A8. After this junction the road will split and you'll need to take the left hand slip road signposted Airport, Ingliston, Royal Highland Centre. At the end of the road, you'll come to a roundabout. You need to take the second exit onto Eastfield Road (make sure you avoid the immediate turn to the left at this roundabout as this is for a different car park). Continue on this road until you get to a roundabout where you need to take the first exit. The car park will be signposted ahead.

Please ensure you enter the Scotpark NCP car park. DO NOT go into PremiAir car park which is next door. If you enter the wrong car park, your pre-booking will not be honoured and you may be charged again.

Arrival procedure

On arrival at the entry barrier, your number plate will be read and the machine will issue you a ticket automatically. If no ticket is issued, please press for assistance. Please take your ticket, park your car and catch the courtesy bus to the terminal from outside the customer services office. Please remember to keep your ticket for when you return and make a note of what zone your car is in; this will help you when you get back.

Please make sure you park in the correct car park, otherwise you may have to pay a non-refundable charge when you leave.

Departure procedure

On your return, please walk to bus stop 8 where you were originally dropped off outside the terminal building and hop on the yellow bus for an approx. 3-5 minute trip back to the car park. At the exit barrier, please insert your ticket so we they validate your booking and raise the barrier. If you have overstayed your booking, your additional charge will be displayed, which you'll need to pay. If the barrier does not rise, please press for assistance.

Security

The car park offers fencing, regular staff patrols, floodlighting and CCTV. NCP Scotpark Edinburgh has been awarded the Park Mark award for safer parking.

Insurance

The car park indemnifies customers for damage resulting from any proven act or negligence on part of its servants or agents, otherwise parking is at owners own risk.

Disabled facilities

The shuttle bus is wheelchair-friendly. There are also designated Blue Badge bays which work on a first come, first served basis.

Additional information

Trailers are not permitted.

The car park offers a grace period of 3 hours at their discretion. If you stay longer than this, you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £16 per day (subject to change). No refund will be issued for part used stays.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Is your computer having a laugh at my expense. I, along with hundred of thousands of other travellers had my holiday cancelled. The only money I couldn't have refunded to me was the car parking charge. The only business i couldn't contact by phone to discuss my options was NCP the contact e_Mail i sent was not answered. You have too many competitors at Edinburgh Airport not to have even a minimum standard of customer service. I will be using ANY of them in the future. And let's get something very clear, I had written off this charge weeks ago I am only responding because your computer programme e_mailed to ask me my opinion.

Due to coronavirus pandemic my flights were cancelled by the airline. I contacted you and requested a refund, I have not received any response from you apart from an email asking if I enjoyed the parking experience! Very insensitive at these difficult times and when other companies are going above & beyond to refund customers this is extremely poor customer service.
