Directions	From the North: Leave the M1 at Junction 24 and, following the signs to the airport, take the A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport. From the South: Leave the M1 at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport. From the West: Follow A50 to J24 then follow the signs to East Midlands Airport. Before your arrival at the Airport please ensure you have your booking reference details with you. On arrival at the Airport turn left at the first traffic island. Then follow the signs to Car Park 7.
Distance to airport	Transfer takes about 8 minutes on the courtesy shuttle bus.
Transfers from airport	Transfer run 24 hours a day.
Arrival procedure	On entry to the car park please take a ticket at the barrier and park your car. Please remember which colour and zone you have parked in. Please do not leave your ticket and booking details in your car. A courtesy coach service operates to provide transport to and from the Terminal Building, please allow 20 minutes for the transfer. Airline recommended check-in times are usually 2 hours prior to departure.
Departure procedure	On your return please proceed to the MAAS Customer Services Office (situated outside arrivals on the short stay car park) with your ticket and booking confirmation. Your ticket will be validated for exit and you will be directed to the Courtesy Coach Pick up Point. On leaving the car park simply insert your ticket at the exit barrier.
Security	This car park has full perimeter fence, CCTV and 24 hour patrolling.
EXTRAS
Disabled facilities	Dedicated parking spaces are available within our short stay car park to blue badge holders for any duration of stay. To ensure you are charged the appropriate rate for your stay, when ready for exit, please take your car park ticket to the car park office opposite the arrivals hall to pay together with your blue badge.
Additional information	Please allow 30 minutes from arrival at the car park to your check-in time. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.

Cheap and conveniently located, but let down by a few things. It's not obvious where to catch the bus. When a bus stopped on the main road just outside the airport, opening the doors, the driver wouldn't let us on, but directed us to the bus park tucked away on the other side of arrivals. It wasn't clear what you had to do, so we had to ask at the office. Having to call the office and read out the confirmation number to be let out is a strange system. In all, it cost us an extra 5 or 10 minutes to mess about like this. Could be excellent if the info was better at the airport and if the ticket machines could just function normally without you having to call someone on the intercom.
