Directions	From the North leave the M1 at Junction 24 and, following the signs to the airport, take the A453 for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right into the airport. From the South leave the M1 at Junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport. From the West follow A50 to J24 then follow the signs to East Midlands airport. Upon your arrival at the airport, Long stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout and following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed to straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Turn left and at the next roundabout turn left again. At the 5th roundabout, continue straight on into Car park 7.
Distance to airport	Transfer takes about 8 minutes on the courtesy shuttle bus.
Transfers from airport	Transfer run every 15 min 24 hours a day.
Arrival procedure	We operate an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system so it is essential you have entered the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. We recommend that you bring a copy of your confirmation with you. On arrival, please drive up to the entry barrier and your car registration will be read. A ticket will be automatically issued to you. Make your way to any available space and park your car. Keep this ticket safe as it will be needed on your return. If a ticket is not automatically dispensed, please press the “Assistance” button and explain to the operator that your vehicle has not been recognised. Please confirm your booking details, including your car registration. A ticket will then be issued. Keep this ticket safe as it will be needed on your return.
Departure procedure	Upon your return to the airport, proceed to your car and drive to the exit barrier. Please insert your ticket to leave and the barrier should raise automatically. If the barrier does not raise and/or asks for payment, please do not insert your credit or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken. Please press the intercom button for assistance and quote your pre-booking reference number.
Security	The car park has high perimeter fencing, CCTV and regular security patrols. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking.

Disabled facilities	Blue badge holders may pre-book this long stay product and park in the Short stay car park instead where dedicated spaces are available. Please ensure that your Blue badge is clearly displayed and upon your return state that you have parked in the Short stay car park when you present your entry ticket and booking confirmation to the Car park Enquiries office (situated in the Short stay car park).
Additional information	Please allow 30 minutes from arrival at the car park to your check-in time.

Cheap and conveniently located, but let down by a few things. It's not obvious where to catch the bus. When a bus stopped on the main road just outside the airport, opening the doors, the driver wouldn't let us on, but directed us to the bus park tucked away on the other side of arrivals. It wasn't clear what you had to do, so we had to ask at the office. Having to call the office and read out the confirmation number to be let out is a strange system. In all, it cost us an extra 5 or 10 minutes to mess about like this. Could be excellent if the info was better at the airport and if the ticket machines could just function normally without you having to call someone on the intercom.
