Transfers from airport
The Long Stay car park no longer operates a bus service to the terminal. Customers will need to walk using the new walking route to the Terminal. The walk is approximately 8-10 minute long, depending which end of the Long Stay you parked your vehicle.
This car parks offers a free upgrade to Long Stay car park.
Directions
This is a parking option with a free upgrade to Long Stay.
Please drive into the Airport from the A8, until you get to the Hilton Hotel roundabout. When you reach the roundabout with the Hilton Hotel, turn right, following the signs for Long Stay. Cross over the tram tracks, and turn right at the next roundabout. The entry to Long Stay is on your left.
Please don't turn off early and park in NCP Scotpark as this is not an Edinburgh Airport car park and your booking won't be valid.
Arrival procedure
At the entry barrier, please press the button on the ticket machine. The system will validate your booking and print a ticket. If there are any issues, use the intercom and the staff will help you out.
Once you have parked your car, please take a note of the location and walk to the terminal. A new walking route has been built, which passes through the Mid Stay car park (adjacent to Long Stay), through East Terminus (new drop-off Terminal), and ends in the main plaza (where the bus used to drop-off passengers).
Return procedure
On your return, please walk to the Long Stay Car Park.
To exit the car park, please drive up the barrier and insert your ticket. The system will check your details and the barrier will open.
Security
The car park is fully secure with 24-hour car park attendants, frequent patrols, security fencing, and comprehensive CCTV coverage. It has been awarded Park Mark, Safer Parking Award.
Disabled facilities
Customers who require PRM assistance should contact airport services for assistance on arrival day.

Our flights were cancelled due to the Covid-19 crisis but Plane Parking stuck rigidly to their no refund, no change policy and refused to allow us to move our reservation to a future date. I won’t forget about this when I come to rebook.

My holiday to Austria was cancelled at short notice. I contacted Plane Parking who gave me an email address for me to request a credit note. The person tried to divert me on to someone else...
previously I have had some great experience at Plane Parking including value for money but this far it’s not been one of them. I’m hoping that you may assist in recovering the situation.

Found the parking no problem with the directions came home but had difficulty getting out the barrier had to phone and get my ticket validated I had prepaid so thought it should have been straight forward

Our flight was cancelled due to Covid-19. We had booked 3 weeks car parking through FHR. We notified them we would not be able to proceed with the booking and requested a credit against a future booking. FHR refused to offer a credit as said they had already paid Edinburgh airport/ Plane Parking and they were not refunding FHR. I emailed Edinburgh airport and was told FHR were responsible for our booking and to follow up with them. Edinburgh airport's website stated under Covid-19, they were offering a credit note that can be used on a new booking. FHR also stated on their automatic email that they can hold a credit for the full amount of the booking, yet I am still told they cannot offer a credit. FHR have taken our money, offered no service........is this company interested in looking after it's customers - clearly not!
