Edinburgh Park & Fly Ltd

This off-site car park is only a mile and a half from Edinburgh Airport but, although the transfer buses operate on demand and only take 7 minutes, it is recommended that customers allow half an hour for the trip. Keys must be left with the operator and it should be noted that vans and vehicles carrying more than six passengers are no longer able to be accommodated. Security measures are good and include infra-red technology covering the perimeter.

"Your records will show that I have used Park & Fly at Newbridge many times over the last decade. I have been very pleased with the service provided, including the transfer to and from the airport.
I booked again with P & F on 12 March for the period 25 June till 5 July. However, I received an email from P & F some time before my departure date indicating that I should transfer to Park & Fly Meet & Greet " at no extra cost". This involved taking my car to the short stay park in the airport.
I found the experience to be completely unsatisfactory: the entrance to the multi - storey car park is completely confusing. There are no clear signs showing the route into the short-stay park. Provision of a map to customers might be helpful.
When I collected the car on 25 July ( not where I left the car as instructed, but on a different floor) I found that it was liberally covered in bird droppings. When I arrived home I noticed a minor paint scrape on the car which was certainly not there when I left the car. I found this to be very disappointing, since was not mentioned by the agents when I collected the car. Was the car parked under trees where it may have been scraped by a branch?

In short, I regret to say that I shall not be prepared to use P& F again."

"The place is fine, I have used it many times the only problem I had with the return to the car park on the 24/06/14 was the young driver, he thinks he was driving a racing bus, me and the wife were flung from side to side when he was going round the turns to the car park he needs to slow down. If I do use you again and I see that young driver I will refuse to go into that mini bus, tell him to slow down. The lady behind me was grabbing the back of my seat and pulling it back, not a nice ride at all. The other driver going to airport was very nice indeed."

"We arrived at the airpark at the time arranged and then stood for some time whilst the staff member booking in customers struggled to get his computer to find records of the people before us. When it came to our turn the service was quick and easy. We were transported to the airport with no fuss at all.
On our return we were picked up quickly and transported to the airpark where we found the receptionist could not locate our car on his computer. I went off in search of the vehicle and when I eventually found it I found it was unlocked with the nearside front window partially open. I went back to the office, which had by this time located my car on the computer, and retrieved my ignition key at the same time mentioning that the car had been parked unlocked. I was informed by your staff that all the vehicles were unlocked which I found to be most disconcerting.
The service we received, i.e. transport, price of parking etc, was good but I would be most unwilling to leave my car at your parking facility if it is be kept unlocked."

"We had a good experience with this company found the staff to be friendly. My tips would be :
Call them as you drive close to the airport.
Avoid going into the 'Drop off' zone as you have to pay to get out, head for 'Multi Storey car park'.
Avoid using the 'Speedy' barrier to get your ticket.
On return : Call them on the free phone which is located after Customs and you have your luggage.
If you follow the above all should go well."
