"This was my 2nd time using this car park. Compared with my first experience the service was not quite as speedy or efficient but still within the timescales given on available information. I realise now that they made a big effort to cope with demand over the Easter period, and did it well. At times when the Airport is less busy the service is not quite to the same level. I've used your service and pink elephant on three ocassions now. to be honest the service is fine and what I would expect. The only problem is that every time I try to exit the car park, when I have pre paid, my ticket never works in the machine that operates the boom gate!!
Three times now i have had to reverse out of a line of traffic, almost caused an accident and then had to join the long line of cars with people who haven't pre booked!! And then all the person on the gate does is look at my credit card and apologise for the inconvenience!! I know I should have learnt by now but each time I think that, as I have pre-paid, I should be able to exit easily.
Perhaps they should take a look at the service at Gatwick which is brilliant.
Next time I think I will just pay when I exit as I always seem to be in that queue of cars anyway!!

"Have used this facility several times and have experienced no problems. Have found that by pre booking online has saved me money. Well organised, well sign-posted system and easy to understand. "This is the first time I have ever used airport parking but it won't be the last! I was most pleased with the service, especially as I lost my wallet which means I didn't have me prebooked card with me. The communication lines were fantastic. I informed a young girl at the airport of my situation, who then contacted the management at Pink Elephant, who radioed through to the person at the gates and I was waved through without a problem. It was quite expensive, especially when I compared the prices to staying overnight at a nearby hotel and leaving my car there. "On arrival at the airport, direction are clear to the car park, but when you get your ticket the printint on the ticket was blured so you could not read what zone to go to, after finding an attendant he directed us to our zone, parked up waited for 5 miniute for tranfer no problems, on returning raining very hard, bit of a backlog with tranfers on return back to the car park and a bit of a round trip to get ot our car, but overall not a bad service."May 30, 2007
"The parking rate over a 14 day holiday was the best that would could find within the Standsted Airport local area. Waiting time for the terminal bus was less than five minutes for the outgoing and return journeys. Entry was simple via credit card, and as we prepaid on the internet, all that was required to exit was our parking ticket.

"Everything went very smoothly with the car parking. The car park is well sign posted and easy to find. The bus was waiting to take us to the terminal which took about 15 minutes and on return we only had to wait about five minutes for a bus to arrive to take us back to our car. "We have tried other long stay car parks but Pink Elephant in terms of price and accessibility is in our opinion the best, and the one we will use in future if it keeps its present standards up. The Pink Elephant we last used was at Stansted, was childishly easy to find, the shuttle service was efficient and (once we had noted the row number on the ticket) we had no problems locating the car when we returned. "Excellent option, even for mid-stay length trips. Transfer takes 10 - 15 minutes and buses are frequent. Very good access to M11, easy to find and quick to get away. We were directed to a parking bay quickly and easily and was ready for the bus in no time at all.
The bus transfer service for both ways of the journey was prompt and efficient, we waited only 3 mins.
