"Pre-paid credit card was NOT accepted on arrival at car park. On leaving after a week's holiday there was chaos at the exit with only one man allowing cars through - even though they knew that there had been a problem all week. I won't be returning."

"I was not able to use the payment card that I had booked with to gain entry which wasted about ten minutes with repeated attempts to insert this card: in the end I had to take a ticket (as specifically instructed NOT to do)to gain admittance with a queue of impatient traffic behind me. I t would be useful to have information on your website about what to do if your card is repeatedly rejected.
On returning, the bus waited for over 15 mins at the terminal even though it was full to capacity (the whole family had to stand on outgoing and incoming trips with our luggage on our feet as there was no place to stow it)"

"I've used Pink Elephant long stay parking at Stansted about 3 times now, and I've nothing to complain about, it's an exellent service. Book and pay at home. Get a ticket when entering, and just show the ticket and the booking confirmation at the manuell box when you leave. Very nice and easy."

"The site is easily accessible and shuttle buses were already waiting on my arrival. There was no problem with the transfers on arrival and return and the credit card pre-booking service was excellent. I have used the site several times now and shall continue to do so."

"The process of ordering online and using the same credit card to gain entry to the car park was simple and logical as was using the ticket to leave. Altogether a very smooth and easy way to park while getting a good discount."

"Having pre-booked and paid on the internet I thought all had gone to plan until I went to exit the car park and after putting the card issued at entry I was then requested by the machine to enter my credit card. I did this and the barrier opened and I was advised a further debit had been deducted from my card and a receipt was issued. Having already paid I was infuriated and I went to the office to confirm I had been double charged to be confronted by one of your Officers who could not explain satisfactorily why this had happened. She gave me a telephone number to call to arrange a refund for the extra charge. I am still awaiting my card to be credited with this refund. During the entry procedure some days earlier after inserting my credit card as requested I was issued with an exit card. I assumed all had gone according to plan but it obviously had not. No satisfactory explanation has been provided. It would appear machines cannot replace people. I never have any problems with Purple Parking at Heathrow, maybe you could learn something from them."

"Pink Elephant at Standstead was really easy to use - well signposted and directions on how to park your car were very easy to follow. There was some confusion when we returned as to where to pick up the busses back - there aren't any signs in the terminal building - and which queue we should join, however the overall experience was that they operate a smooth service."

"It is with regret I had to cancel my holiday, the only notice I could give was 18 hours, hence no refund, which is a shame. I would very much like to have enjoyed part refund if notice is given. No refund if no contact at all. I have reflected this in my rating. Regards."

"I found the Airport parking shop easy to use, effective in finding the cheapest parking at Stanstead, clearly priced and with claer instructions and directions. As it happened I lost my parking ticket but this was dealt with easily and easily and efficiently. I will definitely use this site again."

"When we arrived at the Pink Elephant Carparkwe were send to a zone which was supposedly open for parking, only to drive around for at least half an hour without finding any available spaces.

During our search we drove past a number of other zones which were closed off even though there qwere spaces available, but we could not just park in those spaces as we were not sure if these zones would be serviced by the buses at that time ( as they had signs saying Zone closed). Eventually a new zone was opened and we finally got on a bus and reached the airport.
Luckily we had allowed plenty of time for our journey from Bristol to the airport in case of traffic problems. However, if we would have had a problem on the road we may have missed our flight because of the organisation or disorganisation of the car park.

"all OK, a couiple of points though

1 on arriving a didnt know i had to use the credit card i paid for it to gain entrance - didnt know which one it was either

2 on returning their coach took an age (20 mins?) which at 1 am was a bit long (there was a big queue and other busese seem to arrive and depart for other zones"

"Having used this car park a few times now I am glad it was yet another hassle-free experience. Access is brilliant (just turn off the M11 and you're there), buses go frequently and regularly between car park and terminal and having pre-paid entry and exit into the car park took no more than the time it takes to slot a credit card into a machine. Overall a happy experience, and the rather tender price is softened significantly by paying in advance!"

"The car park was easy to find on our first time at Stanstead. The courtesy bus was prompt given that it was 7 am, clean, and had plenty of space for bags to be stowed. On the return at a busier time of day we had to wait the full 20 minutes for the pick-up but the driver was pleasant, and clear in his announcements.

Our car was parked in a space overhung by trees so was well-plastered with pigeon droppings after only a week away. You should get the trees cut back more regularly !

Other than this we were happy with the service and thought it good value for money compared to the other London airports."

"All wes well - even arriving in torrential rain when driver kindly waited whilst car was parked after off loading bags at J bus stop.

That is until last evening when we had to wait over 30 mins for a bus back to car park! Horrendous number of people at all bus stops for inadequate number of buses."
