"Being a first time customer and on my own, at the barrier I put the ticket in my purse and drove to the open parking section, got the bus and went on holiday.
Midway through the week I thought I should check where I had parked, expecting the info to be on the ticket only to see that, that was my responsibility, Ohhp's.
I e'mailed BCPonline, and I have to say I was panicked, I clearly should have known better, I had forgot and I have to say do not cope well in the dark.
BCP's response was to e'mail a number to ring, they had all my booking details, and had they contacted you to ascertain the sector I was parked in I would have slept a little better.
Having said all that I rang the Pink elephant number on arrival at Stansted and the lady was very helpful and friendly and able to find the information before my mobile went dead.
My second e'mail to BCP on the 15th they have replied to today, I am back at my desk at work!
Pink elephant were excellent, BCP left a lot to desired under the pretext of being 'Customer service'.
Just because I travel alone does not mean that at time's I still feel vulnerable.
I will use you again as I have learnt my lesson.
"Only confusion we had was on the return part, where once leaving the airport it was not 100% clear where we needed to stand in order to get the correct coach/bus back to our carpark (signs leading to the the car park colours queues could have been more visable).
Otherwise no issues."
"It was great. I purchased the tickey before we left and it was easy to get into the cra park. The bus was there and we got right on. When we left we got right back on the bus again. To leave we just handed the guy the ticket and it was good. Quick and easy! We would use them again in a heartbeat."June 18, 2007
"Car park was fine. Very clear signposting, although it would have been useful to have arrows ground between parking rows to tell you which way the exit is.
The only problem (but it's more a case of Sod's law than anything else) was that the shuttle bus went to every possible bus stop and zone before mine when I returned so I was the last to be dropped off. But somebody has to be the last so .......

"The car park is easy to find, as it is close to the M11 exit. The price for a three day stay was less than other car parks. One problem emerged as the barrier did not recognise my credit card with which I had made the on-line booking. This was possibly because I arrived 10 minutes before the time I stated. As the bookable arrival times are given in 15 minute intervals, it would be sensible that arrival should be permitted up to 15 minutes prior to the booked time. However the problem was dealt with efficiently by the staff available, and no extra payment was requested."June 18, 2007
"We found Pink Elephant parking extremely efficient. Clear directions enabled us to find our way to the car park. On entering the car park it was easy to find the correct zone needed to park the car. We had pre paid for our ticket by credit card and this all worked well. The bus transfers to the terminal were quick and we waited no more than 5 minutes both on arrival and departure. "I have used the Pink Elephant many times before and usually don't have any problems. This time however, as instructed I put my credit card in the entrance machine which then asked me to press the button for the ticket. I thought this was Ok so did so. On my return I placed the ticket in the machine and was asked to pay again. Luckily I had taken a copy of my parking confirmation and was able to produce my reference. I don't know why the card did not work on entrance. The car park itself is fine although there was a long queue to get on the bus and at 4am in the morning, not pleasant, but expected."June 17, 2007

"The car park was very reasonable, I have used the teminal short stay parking before and it was very expensive. The service outbound was very prompt and efficient. On the homeward journey we were unfortunately delayed, and then held up at passport control so wanted to board the BCP asap. We had to wait probably 15 mins for the bus. "On arrival, to park the car, things went OK. When collecting the car, however:
1. The bus was way overcrowded.
2. Driver announcements were extremely poor; having been dropped at L&M bus stops, it took 10 minutes for us to establish that zone L was in fact across the road, screened by high bushes from the drop point at M zone - extremely inconsiderate and irritating!
3. When inserting my prepaid ticket at the exit barrier, I was met with the message "Ticket stolen - report to cash desk". This involved reversing back across queues of waiting cars at the instigation of an unhelpful jobsworth in a flourescent jacket.
4. On presenting the same ticket at the cash desk, it worked fine. "Why did it get rejected in the automatic lane?" I asked. "No idea".
Summary: Big, arrogant, not customer focussed white elephant!"

"I found the parking at Pink Elephant satisfactory. The only complaint I would have is the sign posting, until you reach the car park there is no sign actually saying Pink Elephant only long stay parking.
Its confusing unless you know there is only one long stay park."

"Very efficient. I did not have to wait long at the car park nor at the terminal for the bus. Your staff were very helpful particularly as I messed up the entry by pressing for a ticket , despite being prepaid. (I would also like to praise the bus drivers as being very helpful , to the point on the way to my parking area in the bus - Z6 on the 13th June at 6.30pm - the driver stoppped( not at a designated stop) along the route to give advice to a couple that were lost ,wandering about the car park ) Nonetheless on exit it did not prove to be an issue. "Efficient and extremely helpful, especially as I had a crisis on both departure and arrival. I had to return to my car before flying out because of having left my passport in the vehicle and the staff were very helpful and considerate in seeing that this could be done in the limited time available. But even more impressive was on arrival and the way they helped locate my jacket, complete with wallet, when I returned to the carpark an hour after leaving it having realised it was missing. The control room staff spent much time and effort seeking out the bus and driver that I had travelled with which eventually led to a successful outcome. Many thanks."June 14, 2007
