"Fine - good service - clear instruction thanks"November 16, 2007
"Easy to find although signage is misleading. Docmentation states mid stay car park whereas sign at entrance states long stay.
Only spaces available were at south end of car park which entailed lengthy walk to terminal (no bus available).
Staff at ticket validation desk in airport foyer very cheery and helpful.
Reasonable value for money."
"Carpark 3 is very handy for the airport - you do not require a shuttle which, in my book means it is more effecient. A short unprotected walk to the train station where you access the covered walkway to the terminal is the only minor issue as you would get wet if it was raining but that for me is a minimal inconvenience and is far outweighed by the the fact that no shuttle is necessary."November 12, 2007
"We flew to Pisa from Prestwick recently and used Car Park 3 (Mid Stay). This car park is adjacent to the airport which is accessed via a covered walkway. A credit card in used to enter/leave the car park which is very easy. It's an excellent stress free system that we will definitly use again"November 7, 2007
"Exremely convenient, but affordable only because I had 4 people in my car. Credit-card entry/exit worked a treat."November 6, 2007
"Great location, easy to book and easy to find ...all in all a good experience"November 6, 2007
"Car park satisfactory. Chosen as flight very early morning and travelling from Dunfermline and could not be bothered with the hassle of using one of the off sight cheaper car parks. Very handy for airport - couple of minute walk."October 29, 2007
"This car park lies across a busy main road from the airport terminal building . Access can safely be made to the terminal building via an overhead walkway and the transfer time is about seven to ten minutes depending where you park your vehicle and the weight of your luggage! The car park is busy in the working day and some delay may be experienced trying to locate a space. Available spaces are apt to be quite far from the entrance barrier to the car park and for this reason I would not rate the car park as the best. If you have prepaid the car park then all that is required on arrival is the insertion of the credit card that you used on booking and the same procedure is used on departure. I understand a kiosk is availble in the airport terminal for those who have not prepaid. Prepayment is best- it saves a little on the car parking costs, and speeds up the entry and exit process."October 25, 2007
"I have used this car park several times and find it both easy and most accessable for the Airport"October 23, 2007
"There were no complications at all. It was simple and straight forward. The shuttle bus arrived on time providing a fast and efficient service. I recommend the service to car park 7 at Prestwick airport to everyone."October 22, 2007
"overall good experience.credit card entry and exit very easy. Not too far to walk to airport but with lots of luggage on way back you have to use the stairs or a small lift so be prepared for that.Much better though than waiting on shuttle buses and transfers."October 22, 2007
"Parking was fine and we got in and out OK, some probelsm getting machine to accept credit card. Pity we couldn't get nearer the airport for dropoff as with 2 young children and 4 bags it was an issue for my husband getting in and out car park 1 within 10 allocated minutes, would be even more off a problem had it been peak times or you were elderly."October 21, 2007
"was better than using a shuttle bus, but still a bit far to walk with suitcases & small children"October 21, 2007
"Convenient and quick. Drop your passengers at the drop-off point and meet them in the check-in queue.
However it is comparatively expensive; and the security is a bit suspect as it is unmanned and has open foot access."
"Imagine how happy I was, after a long day's travelling, and having hauled 3 cases back to my car, to find there's no pay station in Car Park 3, and that I had to go all the way back to the terminal car park to pay - outrageous, and no mention in the confirmation email. In addition, the convoluted long walk between car park and terminal building takes ages. In future, it's the further away cheaper car parks and a shuttle bus for me."October 21, 2007
"I have used car park 3 at Prestwick twice in the past 10 days. The first time I got a bit confused - when I presented my credit card I got a ticket and when presenting the ticket on leaving had to put in my credit card - I am hoping that I was not charged twice! I will check and get back to you if I was. The second time was no problem. I think that the car park is well located and that access to the airport over the bridge is safe and quick. If I use Prestwick Airport again I will certainly use your service."October 20, 2007
"When we arrived at the airport at 3.30a.m. we found entrance into car park very easy. On our return we did have to call for attention because it stated that we had outstanding £39.00 (but I think that it was our fault we should have put in our card instead we put in car park ticket). Thank you!"October 19, 2007
"A long walk, but ok vaue for money."October 17, 2007
"The system is very slick and smooth. using the credit card for entry and exit was super. We came off our flight just after midnight, so we were in our car quickly and away home with no hold ups.I would certainly use you again. Thanks."October 16, 2007
"Poor. Took payment twice and it took 2 phone calls and 2 weeks to get refund."October 15, 2007
"Problem free. Very easy to negotiate. We weren't too sure what to do, but the instructions were easy to follow. Taking passengers through the railway station and across the flyover into the airport could be better signposted. Only very slight hiccup was difficulty in getting out of the car park as a bus driver had parked very awkwardly and we had to negotiate round him very carefully."October 13, 2007
"Location was ideal - across the road from the airport. On arrival could only enter the car park by inserting credit card used to make advance booking. Fortunately, I had the correct one with me, but notice should have been given of this in advance."October 11, 2007
"This is the second time I've used this car park. It is an excellent facility pre-booking is simple and the procedure on arrival eveb easier. Five minute walk to the terminal. Will definately use again."October 9, 2007
"Very handy and easy to use car park"October 8, 2007
"The carpark was excellent and only 5 mins walk from the terminal building.
When I inserted my card for payment, we received an invalid card message but after contacting the attendant through the speaker system, he resolved this instantly - so no big problem.
"Had a stressful day because I realised I had the wrong card with me the day before I was due to park. My complaint is that it was impossible to get help by phone. I was told 3 times that I would be phoned back and never was. On arrival at airport I just parked and took ticket. My problem was easily rectified by speaking to lady in car park desk. She told me I would get my ticket validated on return. Why could I not have been told this on phone? As single first time traveller from prestwick I was made anxious when I need not have been. Otherwise service was fine."October 2, 2007
"Car park was fine getting in and out was a bit of a problem, the machine wouldn't accept my card and had to press for assistance. This took at little while on my return journey as we didnt get to Prestiwck till 11.30pm. But this will not prevent me from using the facility again"October 1, 2007
"I booked online which was easy. However on arrival the gate entry machine would not accept my credit card. Entry was no problem using the "call for assistance" button. Exit proved diffucult and the queue behind me was irate as it took nearly 8 mins for someone to answer the "call for assistance" button. (it was nearly 1a.m.). When they did answer i provided my refetrence and left OK. Access to & from the terminal was easy via the train station, however the escalators were not working."September 28, 2007
"car park 3 easy and close to the airport.
no need to wait for the bus.5 or 6 min walk easy.
although ther was a lacking of troleys to assist with cases.and i did enjoy my trip.
"On arrival at the barrier I tried to insert by credit card about 4 times, as it was unaccepted by the machine. I eventually pushed the HELP button for assistance and was told that there was a problem with the machine accepting cards at present and to take a ticket instead. It would have been helpful to have had a sign on the ticket machine at the barrier to indicate that the card reader wasn't working properly. It's stressful enough when you are going on holiday without having to worry that your credit card is being rejected. But apart from that I thought it was trouble free and a great place to park when flying from Prestwick. I'll definitely use the car park again as it was very handy and good value for money."September 25, 2007
